Wow, a full-length? That's great indeed. Do you have the rest of the songs written/recorded?

Written yes, recorded no. I am finishing up the latest song which is an 8 and a half minute epic dealing with the "true" story of the destruction of Atlantis (not the story recounted by Plato, think something more... biological ;) ). I was very inspired by Timeghoul for this track because I feel there is a very disturbing shortage of proper epic death metal, and I feel this helps to fill that gap.

The other tracks are written and will be recorded completely soon. I expect a release date before the end of August!

Seven tracks total, including one dark ambient outro (don't worry it's short and not meant for filler purposes at all; it will be quite cool).

I guess it's a one-man thing? I'll take the metal stuff and ditch the dark ambient nonsense but that's just me.

Yeah it's metal. Two people actually, even though most of it is done by me.

Nice to see that Timeghoul's spirit lives on in another band, now that's a band that died too early. Very promising stuff, I'm eager to see what the full album will look like.

Put up a new website. It's pretty basic and I'm not the greatest web designer, but it will work.

If you're interested in different layout, let me know I can take care of your site a bit. Granted, I am not much of a programmer, I can do a bit of image based design.

It will be the same edition, just funded by two labels. I think the CD replication will be done and sent back to the labels within 2 to 3 weeks. I can't wait to actually see it!

There will be 1,000 copies pressed. I think that's what you're asking.

Both labels will sell them for quite cheap, too. You can see their usual rates through their mail-order lists on their distro sites, which can be found in the contact section on my website.

Let me know when it's out. I may stock a few.

Ello there rexxz and Thorgrim. Like I said back in the FFA thread, I simply love your work, but theres a few questions that I'm just aching to know about your imagery if you dont mind answering them.

For one, what on earth is the cover artwork for Codex Incubo? I've been staring at it for a while now, and Im still not fully sure what its supposed to be. Who's the artist?

Secondly, your logo looks cool as hell, but...Forgive me for asking...Is the band name actually in there? Im terrible at deciphering logos, but I cant find the letters. Are there other things written in it as well? Or are they all just designs? And who made the logo?

Finally, is there any particular reason for having the pelvic bone in the logo? Its had me wondering for a while now.

Thanks if you can get around to these, can't wait for the album! I'll definitely buy a copy. :D

Hey! We're actually the same person just so you know. I had started this account first and then later made the Thorgrim account and then switched back to this one some months ago.

It is one of those "star-spawned tyrants" alluded to in the song Shattering of Terrestrial Reality (Invasion of Aberration). It is a great tentacled alien beast and as you may have guessed, very much inspired by the literature of H.P. Lovecraft (as it all of my work).

Yes the letters are there, and I agree that it is somewhat difficult to make out. Let me see if I can help you out with that.

Check that link out for a guide on reading the logo correctly.

The reason for the pelvic bone is not one of particular importance. It is just concurrent with the strange themes present in our music. Many people have considered it to be more in line with the imagery of gore metal but I look at it as an embellishment that evokes alien abductions and occult experimentations on humans. It's nothing very significant as I've mentioned, but thanks for asking.

Hopefully the album will be out very soon. I suspect that in the next few weeks the labels will have their copies for sale.

Ah...I DID notice the Lovecraft influence right off the bat. Great stuff, Im getting into his work a lot lately. Thanks for answering! Now Im just going to have to worry about my head exploding when the album arrives. Once again, you guys are great! Cant wait for future material too. *flees back to the tavern*

Absolutely, it's a fine logo at that. I can't wait to get my own copies of the album, I'll send you yours as soon as they arrive here.

Everyone should check out arvlabel's magazine. Here's a thread with some of his other artwork, very excellent stuff.

http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2613

On a more band related note, the artwork for the next album has begun. It will be even better than the artwork I made for Codex Incubo, as this time it's my brother that's doing it. ;)

Milovan is making a good name for himself with the zine and artwork. Anyone getting art from him should feel privileged.

I may have to save up money to buy this album. I'm sure it would be worth it if I do save money.

Yeah caspain I know. The gears are all in motion already and I have no other control over it. It should be a couple of weeks now, I think. The label had to have a proof copy of the CD before they start printing it, just to make sure everything is in order, so that has added to the time of waiting.

MegaHassan, if you don't make much I could work something out. I remember reading that a CD is about an entire month's pay for you, unless I'm mistaken.

Yup, but no need to work something out. I'm getting a raise in the departmental store I work in, like 2/3 (2 divided by 3) times more money starting from October, so yeah.

Ok, Metalbolic Records has put the album up for sale on their webstore! I highly recommend those living in Canada to wait until Suffering Jesus Productions gets their copies in the mail, though (it would most likely be a bit cheaper, plus faster shipping).

Check it out!
