The reason we are here - on May 11, 2018 we released "Necroshiva" album. Of course we are very proud of it - the album got positive reviews from METAL HAMMER, Invisible Oranges, AngryMetalGuy and others.

We became first band from our city (Almaty) and second from Kazakhstan who recieve such kind of attention, which is very flattering. At the same time we considered it as an advance and ready to go forward.

"Formed in 2010, ZARRAZA independently released two EPs ("Bullets & Beliefs" 2012, "Cutting Meat. Fast & Loud" 2013 ) and became one of the most hard-working metal bands in Central Asia.
The band has played in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.

The band received international notoriety after Maxim Magazine shared their video for "Zombie Kids" with Asking Alexandria, who expressed fear and disgust after watching.

Now the band are ready to blow up the scene with their first full-length album.
The band commented "The only thing we worry about is how our lyrics for songs like “If I was Satan” would be translated into Kazakh or Russian.
Anti-religious songs full of sarcasm and quotes from Giordano Bruno and Pierre-Simon de Laplace are not welcomed in a country where there is a significant Muslim population."

The album was recorded in the fall and winter of 2017 through 2018 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Mixed and mastered by Arkadiy Navaho (KATALEPSY, SIBERIAN MEATGRINDER, DISTANT SUN), Navaho Studio (Moscow, Russia).

"The band is band in Central Asia and when I listen to this I hear mix of Extreme thrash, Industrial Metal and Black Death all rolled into a fast moving and catchy adventure.
There are elements of Fear Factory, Exodus, Machine head and Vektor going on here all at the time and
its got a very proggy meets Sci fi side to esp when the solo and break downs come in the vocals sound like Burton C Bell meets Rob Flynn cut and dry.
This is an impressive Death/ Thrash recorded will some very memorable riffs as well as some circle pit moments.
The do get rather technical as well in the way that more modern Testament does . Zarraza is a band to give the time to listen too as you will be impressed."
