Based in the Tacoma/Seattle area, Phorusrhacidae combines elements of black metal and jazz with abstract soundscapes to create a unique and dynamic barrage of noise. Phorusrhacidae belongs to a philosophy that recognizes the ills of consumption, certain infrastructure, and the squashing of singularity and narrowing of subjectivity. The album contains four unified, original compositions and one cover of a song called Yeah You're Right by an instrumental funk group called the Meters off their own 1969 album Look-Ka Py Py.

Reviews, criticism, critique, and dialectical feeback are welcome.
