new free mini-album: http://nostrilcaverns.bandcamp.com/album/apanda-2013

It's 7 songs, 12 minutes. I wanted to test out my new mics, so I made some weird/random/fast chaotic nonsense. Now with added keyboards, so it's drums/guitar/keyboards.

it has potiential, just like your 30min long song it just doesn't seem to come together right for me, there are parts I can dig some of it kinda reminds me of Eye Upon Separation in their improv fuck off track. I don't like the keyboards as much, as a mix it sounds pretty great. I would be interested if you did more as in improv one guitar first, then record drums to that and then improv the 2nd guitar off that. Something to think of.

I think it's cause though you can have chaos, it seems like everything is choked out by the other, "Stolen Library Card" would actually be my fav track out of all. it's odd and weird but since the pace on the guitars isn't competing as much with the drums. I don't know, the first 2 tracks kinda just grated me more... I would say explore more in what makes this one work a tad more.

also 'it was the panda' is pretty neat. it sounds like the Locust if they were on downers.

it sounds great! your mics are also as of now approved by me :P are you happy with them? nice organic sounds I think.
The parts where everything is going at once are the best for me. I like chaotic nonsense. I think I like "Which way's up" best :)

I think your next thing should have even less planning and more improvising . good stuff. Maybe throw some spoken word stuff on top of it, talking about equations and math theories, or other pretentious stuff. Could fit or maybe not I don't know.
