im not quite sure if it is possible. But how do i attach myself to a "still listed" band? Thought it would be possible.

Account - doesn't work
Artist page: go to the band's lineup page and press "edit" -> "[+] Add another artist " -> search your entry -> either add the existing one if there is any, if not, create a new one -> apply role/nickname/years (if possible) -> save
