Has anyone here used one of these for drum programming? Specifically black metal in the vein of darkthrone, moonblood etc, nothing too too crazy, but was wondering how capable this device is of obtaining such patterns found in the works of these artists? And any info about it's user friendliness, troubleshooting you had to do, too is appreciated. Thanks.

it is a basic drum machine, capable of all that stuff. if you can use fl studio, then you can use an alesis drum machine.

thanks for the insight. mostly just concerned with programming smooth rolls and fills as i'm not a percussionist and have little experience with fruity loops or programming whatsoever.
