Which social media platforms (and strategies) work best for you musicians in terms of getting the results you want from your music? Of course, nothing will beat the real connections of playing shows and connecting with your local scene, but we live in a global society that defies this notion at times. Are you a fan of friending masses of random people on Facebook or do you solely let your music prove itself in bandcamp? Do you post constant rehearsals on Snapchat or do you use Instagram with periodic updates?

Since I don't play shows, I have to rely on social media but I don't spam all the time. I have have YouTube, Bandcamp and Facebook. The latter is the only source I post from time to time. Interested in different platforms though. I know SoundCloud or some sort is useless because I can't upload my music for free.
