I already know how to get a generic bm tone down, turn the gain down slightly, turn the bass down, treble way up. But what would you recommend to get more of a warmer Greek black metal guitar tone similar to Rotting Christ and Varathron?

The reason I ask this is because I want to stand out more in the mix and want to squeal more like in this song.

Get a good Marshall or similar-sounding amp, keep the EQ fairly neutral, and don't go cranking the presence. You may need to put a tubescreamer in front of it.

you definitely will want a guitar with humbuckers. most amps can get a similar tone with their natural overdrive, a tubescreamer, and a very slight mid-scoop. like low-7 or 8. mid-6. high-7 or 8.
