Sketchy title, but. I got this email after reviewing an album:
Quote:
"Check for some minor capitalization (i'd) and grammar problems. Give a good proofread and resubmit, 'cause you're review is acceptable minus the grammatical errors."

But, I didn't save my review in notepad, or anything, I usually would think ahead and do something like this, but, so yeah... It's gone, but, I assume it would still be in some mod's inbox if not deleted? So yeah, I would like to ask if someone can PM the review?

Sounds lazy, but, I had it laid out nicely, i've attempted to re-type it but, i've not been able to recreate it. Username is the same as on here. No big deal I suppose, but, would be handy. Thanks.

Rejected reviews are not saved anywhere. You'll have to rewrite it.

Actually, rejected reviews are now saved as a draft, along with the rejection message.

A whole userbase of people not proactive enough to save their own reviews... joy...

I'll be nixing the drafts when I reject something, if I'm able. It's the only way people will ever learn....and it's a very good habit to have, far beyond its applications in submitting reviews to a public/unprofressional metal reviews site.

As Bukkake said, oh that damn irony right there. "you're (you are) review is acceptable?" LOL.

Yes, I'm the ass. I'm not the one making grammatical errors in the same sentence in which I inform someone else of their grammatical errors.

I was calling myself an ass.

My query isn't the same as the OP's, but I still would kind of consider it an accepted, "lost" review. I recently published a review for All Shall Perish's boring "This is Where it Ends." The review was accepted, and it shows up if you click "reviews" on the album description, but on that same description, it only says "1 review (avg. 91%)" rather than the two reviews and the average of 78% it should have. Any ideas? It was just accepted between today and yesterday, so the recent acceptance could be a factor.

I also did not receive an email when it was accepted, despite the fact that I have email notifications checked in my profile.

On another note, when did the status for Veteran change from 500 points to 1000? I haven't been active in a while.

While I can't answer your main question, I can this one. When the site switched to V2, it was easier than ever to get points, so the ranks got bumped up a bit. If you were a Veteran but didn't have 1000 points, you were grandfathered in and got a free bump to 1000.

That's amazingly aggravating considering I was at 490 or so before V2. Though I haven't been trying to update much recently.

I see your review just fine on the album page. Perhaps there was a caching issue?

Interesting. Must have just been a caching issue, then, because I do see it fine right now. Thanks for the help.

EDIT: On an unrelated note, this is my 666th post in the forums. \m/?
