If anybody is looking to review stuff from the Pennsylvania metal scene, I'd like to recommend Influenza's 2021 demo "Dangerous & Contagious". 3 song thrash metal demo lasting a little bit over 12 minutes that has been compared to thrash bands such as Exumer, Slayer, and Destruction among others.

Our band Skull Servant released a new EP on March 3rd called Astral Apothecary. Looking to hear some thoughts on the new sound since we've moved more into the Psych/Stoner/Doom genre.

Hail to all, I'm lookings for some review of my band "Draugen" from Argentina, of our last demo "vampyricos cuervos del olvido" (vampyric crows of oblivion), we make raw black metal/noise, with themes such as melancholy, vampirism, necrophilia, medieval, inmortality and the survival of counsciousness after death.

We have this last demo released in pro cdr format by Barbatos Productions (Rusia) with this sound: https://draugen777.bandcamp.com/album/vampyricos-cuervos-del-olvido

Personally I edit the album to bring it an old tape sound, that will be released with my diy label Nocturnal Hasthur Prods:

Does anyone want to review Hercules - Waiting For The King ? I'm kind of bored to write reviews. I think most people will like his music.

https://herculesgr.bandcamp.com/album/w ... r-the-king

Also you can review some albums from the greek bands Βαρνάβας and Skin Eruption.

Finally somone should do a review on the Savage Grace - Automoton single

https://www.spirit-of-
metal.com/en/album/Full_Songs/419175

Also can you do a review on my demo full songs which I have on spirit of metal? It's name is Stamos - Full Songs on bandcamp.

I do hope someone can review this besides me, mostly due to how my review was overly verbose and it was first review so it is VERY incoherent and haphazard, so seeing it done by someone more experienced in reviewing albums might give me further insights regarding how to improve

Greetings,

Looking for anyone willing to review my projects' recent work. Both bands have MA profiles, which can be found here:

Anthems of Gomorrah:
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Anthems_of_Gomorrah/88252

Aelvica:
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Aelvica/3540517438

Would prefer reviews on 2022 and newer releases only. Just looking for honest feedback, I'm not one to throw a fit if I am given a low score or a critical review. I appreciate your time listening to my music.

Thank you!

If anyone would like to review, or at least check out, my band's most recent album, it's a pretty unique deathgrind album. It ventures between standard death metal and grindcore with Hammond organ and synths throughout it.

Hey folks,

We'd greatly appreciate reviews of our recently released debut album ‘Theory of Mind’ FFO Gorguts, Meshuggah, Gojira (Released 2 June 2023).

Theory of Mind’ is a wall of devastating sound, twisting and snarling through dissonant down-tuned guitars, angular drums and thunderous vocals. The eight tracks span notions of ambition, purpose, legacy, exploitation, neglect, and despair. We’re honoured to have worked with acclaimed producer Buster Odeholm (Humanity’s Last Breath, Vildhjarta), who has brought his signature monstrous tone creation, mixing and mastering. Check it out on our Spotify, Youtube and Bandcamp. Alternatively, contact us at [email protected] for a full EPK.

From the few snippets I've heard, it's sounding really good. I might actually review it for the review challenge.

Begravement just released our debut full-length. In my opinion, it's a huge step up in quality from our previous material. We play thrashy old school death metal highly influenced by Death, Morbid Angel, Vader, Gorguts, The Chasm, Sodom, Timeghoul, and Demolition Hammer. I'd love it if someone here wrote it up.

https://begravement.bandcamp.com/album/ ... ons-beckon

It's also of course available on all the big-name streaming services.

Hi there!

I'd really love it if someone would be willing to review the new album of a great band I'm proud to be a part of.

The band is Gross Reality (https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Gr ... 3540324527), and the new album released today is called Return to Ruin (https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/G ... in/1159537).

It's thrash with a technical and spacey vibe from North Carolina, USA.

Here is a spotify link:

We've also released a video for one of the songs, Prison Planet:

We have more videos coming soon.

Thanks so much!

Hello!

A few years ago I started a label called Adirondack Black Mass and would love to get some reviews for the bands and their releases via reviewers on this site! I'll gladly give out download codes through bandcamp (or files should bandcamp not be accessible to you) for reviews.

ABM has releases from all sorts of extreme metal genres from all over the world.

Here is our bandcamp and if any release piques your interest feel free to email me (preferred way) at [email protected]. You can also comment here; I'll do my best to keep checking this thread.

Some of the major releases I'm looking for review wise are:

Opposite Devotion - Hesperus Phosphorus (Black/Death Metal)
Thymata - Embraced By Death (Black Metal)
Anarazel - Our Dark Lord & Saviour (Black Metal)
Sacrodeath - Engendro del caos (death/thrash metal)
Thaumaturgy - Tenebrous Oblations (death metal)
Swamp Fiend - Smoke Weed, Hail Satan (stoner/doom w/ black metal influences)
Herculean Death - Lost Hierarchy of Dark Twisted Arts (black metal)

But really any release is fine!

Here is the bandcamp link

https://adirondackblackmass.bandcamp.com

I hope to speak to some of you soon!

Cheers,
Cianan

I'm trying to write a review of The Sorrow's Origin of the Storm, but it doesn't lend itself to specific metrics. Can someone else check out the album, and let me know how it sounds to them? I've changed my review around a little, but it's such a subtly odd album, it's hard to pin down why it's not just just another screamo 2000s album. Is anyone else on myspace?

If you can be bothered, ping me a pm with a few talking points

Cave Blind - Return of Iron and Steel (2022)

One man band from Czech Republic, released new album at the end of last year.
I will be very grateful for any feedback or review.

Old school power speed metal.
No keyboards.
Touch of black metal on vocals.
Very primitive and accessible songs!

Hi everyone, my band Skull Servant has released a new EP called Traditional Black Magicks II and I wanted to hear some thoughts on it. This is our longest release so far, with 6 songs totaling just over 25 minutes in length. The music is a blend of doom, stoner, and psychedelic with a diverse range of vocal styles on the album. Here's the links to it below, thank you!

Forced Equal is the sophomore album by the Estonian metal band Tankist, released in 2023. Dealing with the gruesome topic of totalitarian repressions on the example of Soviet forced labor camps, the concept album builds on thrash metal with avant-garde black and death metal influences.

PS! Bandcamp codes and a download link with three CD bonus tracks are available for reviewers upon request via PM!

Does anyone want to review these awesome albums?

Ostrogoth - Feelings of Fury

The best Ostrogoth album. All the songs are killer! Not a waste of time for sure! It has a lot of powerful songs!

Diviner - Avaton

Very good polished heavy/power metal. The first Innerwish singer sings here!

The Shadows of Ithaca - Hunt The Hunter

I found a free bandcamp code on their page (they did a give away). I haven't listened to the album yet but I'm pretty sure it's going to be good metal!

War Dance - Sons of Thunder

One of the best greek metal records of 2023!!

Tygers of Pan Tang - Bloodlines

I'm suprised there's still no reviews for this band. They way they have evolved and directions they took in their career is not something you see everyday.

Dizziness - On The Rocks

Forgotten melodic heavy metal/rock from Sweden!! It was reissued on CD recently! "Snowblind" is phenomenal!

Here's a short list of unreviewed Estonian metal releases from the last year by various bands that I think would deserve a first review.
I'm not in the team of any of these, just speaking for the local scene.

Mad Road are one of the Estonian thrash metal pioneers from 1989. Oddly enough, I think that they have reached their best release now late in their career with the album Stitches. Due to their unusual operatic vocal style reminiscent of power metal, they certainly were an acquired taste for me but I believe that they finally achieved the necessary production values to effectively pull off this theatrical style.

Thunraz is a raw-sounding death metal band taking unexpected stylistic turns at every corner. They actually released two full-lengths in 2023, I'll link to the one I liked better. Once getting past the cheap album covers you'll find highly experimental and surprisingly ambitious music.

Intrepid is currently the most ambitious young death metal group to hail from Estonia, having already accompanied Monstrosity and Origin on their full-scale European tour and appeared at several notable festivals. This new EP includes two new original tracks (note that the single version of "Mesmerism" features Steve Di Giorgio on bass), a cover of the Estonian death metal legends Aggressor (there's a bloodline going on here as Intrepid's guitarist is the son of Aggressor's drummer) and a live recording of a track from their previous album.
