It hasn't been released in the US and it doesn't seem to be floating around the internet, so I won't be reviewing it any time soon.

Actually, you CAN find it on the internet, the entire album is on Youtube through Be'lakor's own channel. Also can be bought through iTunes, or ordered through any CD outlet. OR, if you're inclined to download it, it can be found of Soulseek.

I would appreciate a review for my album "Premeditated". Genre is death metal. This album is for charity, so I'd appreciate any reviews and/or exposure I can get. It can be heard here:

And here's a song on youtube, for a quick listen:

It's up to you, of course, but if you actually want someone to review your album for you, I would suggest offering at least the mp3s for the reviewer for free instead of making him buy the album or listen to streams online.

Good point. Whoever wants to review it, PM me and you'll get a free download. Thanks!

The album has three reviews already, two of which from regular reviewers. I've been thinking about reviewing it for a while but I will only do so when the itch becomes too strong.

Let's see what this thread can do.

Since I have yet to regain my motivation for writing, I'd be interested in seeing/reading MA reviews by someone (anyone!) else for the following releases:
Azure Emote - Chronicles of an Aging Mammal (since I already kind of rec'd you the album maybe you would do the honors, MalignantThrone?)
Beelzefuzz - Demo 2011 (available for free sanctioned download here)
Any or both of Blackholicus' albums
Caducity - The Weiliaon Wielder Quest
Carnivora Masacre - Sangre
Any or both of Damage's demos
Fistula - We, The Beast
Humanasaur - Monster Saviour Song
Jelonek - Revenge
JT Bruce - Universica (I hate seeing the only review for this cool piece of instrumental DIY space prog being by ConorFuckingFynes... available for free sanctioned download here; even if you have no intention of reviewing it, download it anyway!)
Kroh - Kroh
Metal Band - Demo
Plazenta Eater - I Hope You Get...
Red Blade - Powerwalker
Replica - Metanoia
Sheavy - The Machine That Won the War
Striga - Striga
Tron - Tron Bloody Tron
Wurzlzwerg - Dwarf King Rievezåhl

I'm able to provide some of the more obscure stuff if requested.

If I can get some motivation, I'd like to write one for Red Blade, solid stuff.

Indeed it is. I reviewed it for a German webzine, but I'm even too lazy to translate that one. :|

Anyway, I'd appreciate it.

I was actually planning to review this album for the challenge but my torrent site of choice magical free stuff provider didn't have it available. If you PM me a link to it I'd be happy to tackle it now.

Someone more skilled than me in the art of reviewing needs to knock this Epica album down a notch. While I wouldn't say it's a terrible album, its current 100% rating is just plain goofy.

I'd like to request Napero, if you have the availability and willpower, to review Barren Earth's sophomore album. After enjoying the read on the debut it would be interesting to see how the opinion goes on this one.

Hey guys,
So yes this is my for my band Akem Manah. I have a whole bunch of reviews done by websites and blogs that i would love to see up on the website. I have seen other bands with these type of reviews. I don't feel comfortable doing this myself. Seems kind of stupid to post reviews about my own band. But i have a list of reviews here:
http://www.facebook.com/notes/akem-mana ... 1952075365

Any help would be great. Thanks

You'll need to get the original authors to submit the reviews themselves, or otherwise it'd be plagiarism (for which MA has a zero-tolerance policy).

I might be up to pissing on that Epica album, terrible band. Not sure when I'll be able to get to it though, as I haven't listened to it much (as I'm not a masochist).

Depends on the sort.

I'd love to do some stuff from there (demos/EPs for preference) just to hear something a bit different but I'd be next to useless at reviewing anything power/symphonic/etc.

Anybody up for reviewing a female-fronted depressive black metal band?

I just put our EP, "Dreams of Dystopia" on Soundcloud today for free streaming (it's in 320kbps format, so it's good quality). We have one review so far by The Autistic Metalhead, and he seemed to like it, but we'd like to know what you think about it, too! Thanks in advance if you take the time to write us a review--we appreciate it!

I'm mostly a death/black/grind/extreme doom guy, but I've got love for most metal genres. Its only the really flowery power/symphonic/gothic bands I wouldn't know how to review properly.

My band from Seattle, WA is a hard rock/modern metal band. We have just released a new album, This is a "theme" album that explores some of the darker topics of Americana. Not unpatriotic, but a look at ourselves and a call to look at the mechanisms of control and the status of our society in this modern gilded age.

PsychoBliss

Female fronted depressive black metal--that doesn't suck!! Seriously, it's hard as hell to get a review out there, especially when you're a new act. Can we get a review or two? We would be eternally grateful...

The EP, Dreams of Dystopia

If you have a full blown review website, I'll send you the actual MP3s. Thanks!

Can there be some sort of list of reviewers willing to review bands' demos or something. I am always looking for material to review for my blog. Willing to review pretty much anything. A lot of people post here looking for reviews of their demo... it would be great for them to have a list of dedicated reviewers.

I am looking for people interested in reviewing the newest Contaminated Tones Release: Gates of Eternal Torment - Imprisoned Beneath The Ice of This Cold Black Void. PM if interested. I only send material out via snail mail and I have a limited amount of promotional copies.

This tape has been several years in the making. The sole force behind this release recorded the five tracks in several different places, across different states and pieced everything together over a span of two years. His nomadic lifestyle is expressed through the bleak atmospheres and lo-fi production.

Yo MalignantThrone, you should do more drone reviews. I suggest Sun O)))'s Monoliths and Dimensions and Hyatari's The Light Carriers.

My band, MIDNITE HELLION, would be honored to have our newest release reviewed. "Enter The Unknown" is the title, and you may listen to the full release at the link below. If you have any questions, PM me or for an immediate response, contact me at [email protected].

http://www.midnitehellion.com/music1.html

Jon (Orion) and Zodijackyl, it would be great if you two would review this release for us as well, as you both reviewed our demo. I'd love to see the compare and contrast between the reviews.

Thanks in advance!

There are a few records I've requests for review, none of which I'm on as a performer, although I'm affiliated with all four (I.E. I played live with Blacksoul Seraphim and I am potentially drumming on their second album whenever that comes to be made) and will be appearing on the next Dethlehem record in a voice role.

http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/La ... nas/288993
http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/La ... emo/360163

Firstly, both releases by Lago. All six or seven songs can be found on their Bandcamp page.

http://lagometal.bandcamp.com/album/marianas
http://lagometal.bandcamp.com/album/tyranny-demo

Secondly, both albums by Dethlehem.

http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/De ... ire/246601
http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/De ... nny/307133

Those too can be found in full on Bandcamp.

http://dethlehem.bandcamp.com/album/the ... on-a-spire
http://dethlehem.bandcamp.com/album/the ... ck-tyranny

Third, there's the full length by Ikkadian.

http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Ik ... ega/351498

This one isn't on Bandcamp, but the band have it on their website as a free download.

http://www.blackmorningstar.com/freedownload.html

Lastly, there's the full length by Blacksoul Seraphim.

http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Bl ... ice/360135

This one is up on Soundcloud.
