I think that 70's Hard Rock / Heavy Metal bands (such as Saxon, Motörhead, Accept, Thin Lizzy, Rainbow, Rush, Deep Purple...) should have more rewievs for they've contributed to the growth of Metal and have influenced thousands of musicians. That would be a petty tribute to these bands but they surely deserve it.

Thank you for reading my request !

Hey, my technical thrash metal band, Immaculate, recently put up our album 'Atheist Crusade' on iTunes and Spotify, and we would love to see some more reviews of our stuff here on the archives.

Either have a listen on: http://open.spotify.com/album/5tfaXAibNTzn8FGVQVeZJR
Or get the album here: http://itunes.apple.com/se/album/atheis ... d501718832
If you would prefer mp3s straight from us, email contact at immaculatethrash dot com and state that you're from here and we'll hook you up!

Other than Ultraboris' review, there are no interesting entries for Never Say Die and it is the only Black Sabbath album that hells_unicorn has not reviewed. I'd like to put out a request for him to write one.

My band, MIDNITE HELLION, would be honored to be reviewed! We are a Heavy Metal band from Trenton, NJ, and have released our demo, "The Fever," last November on Hels' Trash Industries (a division of Paragon Records). Our upcoming EP, "Enter The Unknown," is in the mixing stages and will be released on Evil Jester Media (a division of Pure Steel Records) in the late Spring/early Summer. We definitely need more reviews for our demo, so any help is appreciated!! For high quality files, please either PM me or e-mail me at [email protected] (e-mail is preferred).

*Edit* Also, I have uploaded the demo to Last FM, which can be viewed here: http://www.last.fm/music/Midnite+Hellion

Greetings everyone,

I've just released my debut demo under my project "Molodost", I'd highly appreciate it if anyone can review my demo! The style I play is mainly an ambient black metal one with a few neoclassical and doom metal elements!

Here's the project page here on MA: http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Molodost/3540345531

The demo can be downloaded from: http://www.mediafire.com/?akk91belpa426sz

Last.fm: http://www.last.fm/music/molodost
FB: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Molodost/216621368441056

Thank you,
Raed

The website seriously needs some more negative/mediocre reviews for Meshuggah's new album - all the reviews so far give the impression that the reviewers would have given it a 100% even if it sounded like a turd sizzling on a grill with sound clips of domestic child abuse instead of riffs, simply because the album in question has the Meshuggah logo on the cover.

I bet you would like it if they added heavy production and slams to that formula :p

Looking for reviews for the following. Anyone interested for a promo copy, PM or email me:

Image
Black Chalice - Submission

Doom-laden death metal with heavy atmosphere and mournful melodies. This third release is the peak of Black Chalice's continuing progression into an ever more unique style which will surely be adored by anyone into the off-shades of both Doom metal and Death Metal. Inevitably, due to it's creator's involvement in other projects such as Auspicium, elements of black metal make themselves shown momentarily but this is primarily the affair of other styles.

Image
Okketaehm - Stones

The second album from this reclusive act is sure to appeal to anyone with even a cursory interest in black metal. Thick, suffocating, and concealing uneasiness, "Stones" rewards the listener with feelings of uncertainty, awkwardness and fear. Preoccupied only by it's own mission and it's own patience, there is a vastness and scope few bands attempt and succeed in meeting. Somewhere between everything, there is a comfort that one can only find upon the realization that we are all, ultimately, consumed.

I should have reviews for Mangled and Suffer the Silence up within a month. I'd like to say a week or two, but Iv'e said that before and I rarely meet those self imposed deadlines.

Empyreal should write some reviews for Paradise Lost. I'm curious what he thinks about them.

And I'm currently working on my review for Paradise Lost's Tragic Idol. Expect it to be done this weekend.

I play in a thrash band called Death Inquisition (from Tulsa Oklahoma, not the one from California). We just released an ep entitled "918". If you like thrash on the heavier side, we might be for you. I'll throw a link to download the EP and if anyone takes the time to review it, I'll mail you out a physical copy. We appreciate any work that gets put into a review.

I'm Adam from the traditional/doom metal band After Illusion, and I would be honored if somebody would check out our self-titled 2010 demo! We'd love to get some feedback from the metal community, and this is the best site for metal on the web! Whether it be good or bad, we would be ecstatic if somebody would give the tunes a listen and give a review!

Here's the metal archives page: http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Aft ... ion/112236
