I've always been keen to go on the Recommendation sub-forum for when I want something to listen to that is similar to X-metal artist, but what about non-metal artists? I was trying to go on the sub-forum to ask around for some Neurofunk like Apex, but I realized that it gets buried within a few hours under other requests.
I believe having this kind of split would be beneficial to the community; we obviously don't only listen to metal here.

I propose that there be two sub-forums: One for metal in the forum it is already in, and one in the "Off-Topic" sub-forum.
Is there any support to this idea?

Meh. We are the METAL archives. Sticky about non metal genres would be fine though, not a new forum.
