I am new here, and i was hoping for some clarification of "proof of physical release". my brother and i released a demo under the band name "The Gods Themselves" on 1/13/12. it was released on reverbnation, purevolume, myspace, facebook, soundcloud, and a few others as a digital demo available for free download, but a few copies have also been burned by request, and numbered. does this not count as a physical release? there are plans to rerelease all of our demo tracks later this year on a pressed CD, but the 5 track demo has already been made publicly available digitally.

The physical release needs to be available to the public - generally it should either be available through the band's website or at shows (you would need to ask a site mod for further clarification on this). I'm not sure how copies burned on request apply to this rule.

For proof of the physical release, take a picture of the release - open up the case and take a picture that shows the booklet and CDs.
