Nuking Ne'Zuk, most likely plagiarism and related to another plagiarist band, King Paimon X.

Just a quick rundown of bands that I'd brought up a few weeks ago (and messaged two moderators about) from the previous page, that are still on the site -

- These 2 are not metal:
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Sp ... und/111498
Full download:
Spoiler: show
https://www.mediafire.com/file/iu5v0w2p1x6e4oh

https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/He ... del/111461
Full download:
Spoiler: show
https://www.mediafire.com/file/41vuyv3fmlwth6p

These 4 don't have proof of metalness or release, are sourced from a list that wasn't dependable, and have been added to the research list -
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Arlem/111374
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Battlefield/111402
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Disaster/111429
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/He ... rds/111469

(info in this post as brief and straightforward as possible - further detail can be seen in earlier posts. Thanks.)

Dead Reckoning (UK)

It looks like the release I submitted this band based on is actually a different band from Canada. Apple Music had both releases listed on the same page incorrectly. I'm not sure if the UK band is acceptable, but instead of deleting the page I think it might make sense to change the page to be for the Canadian band and delete the Myth release and single. A mod could also add another page for the Canadian band and move the release over to it if the UK band is acceptable.

Spoiler: show
Is this really a legit submission? Same album as the demo of Hin Onde (https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Hin_Onde/Ahti%27s_Depths/523012); besides, the band title is just almost the same as Hin Onde, don't think that counts as significant name change. And if you took a look at album's cover, there's still Hin Onde, not Hin Honde.

(someone took care of this.)

Inner Sun: Sure this deserves to be here? I just listened to the full album and there's barely any metal in it - way more rock oriented.

I should be able to go through the open posts tomorrow. Still wrestling with the band queue today.

Borderline and there was one negative vote by a mod, but at least 3 others were more leaning towards yes.

Dude, quit hounding the site about Jackpot. Truly annoying that you'd put a report in after it's already been addressed here (Azmodes obviously agreed with what I'd written about it in here last month, since it wasn't removed and everything else in here has been addressed), and now bringing it up again. This is early, historical heavy metal/hard rock.

Stealth requests to hear the Jackpot assessment from a current moderator -

(Apologies for mini-modding on it. Initial instinct was to defend the band like I would a friend).

Merged.

Enough with this burgeoning flamewar about Jackpot, guys... I'll have a look soon.

Nuked アヴァンチック (Avanchick) (JP). More mods went and checked it out and agreed it wasn't metal enough. Hardrock/metalcore with power metal bits.

https://www.metal-archives.com/report/view/id/853987 (melodic rock/AOR, sourced from StrilloStrano list - audio for all 4 songs in report. Not one passable riff by the site's definition of metal on the whole release, which is their only known recording.)

Capricorn (Italy) - another sourced from the StrilloStrano "list of Italian bands that released one demo in the '80s" that was added to the site in 2007. Azmodes is familiar with the issue here (further info and examples of bands cleaned up in December 21st and 22nd posts), that many weren't checked properly on their way onto the site that year, and he took care of the last similar cleanup that was reported. Tons of rock and AOR has been removed from the site since the time that the whole list was dumped onto Metal Archives without discernment in '07, but a couple evidently remain. Have added Capricorn to the research list. Also searched around in a few places that something could possibly have been found about them, but with no result.
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Capricorn/111416

Thanks.

Hi I wanted to ask about Damageplan
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Damageplan/6916
Their only studio album, New Found Power, leans closer to nu/alternative metal than just pure groove metal (at least to my ears). I hear metal riffs but I'm not so sure if they're predominate. Some songs sound closer to Slipknot than they do to Pantera, so I wanted to ask about if they can be re-evaluated as I don't believe it's unambiguously metal.

Edit: adding the link to the album as stated in the rules
