I tried submitting the band "Outshined," but as soon as I typed the name, the "Outshined (United States) is blacklisted" popped up. Now, I feel that there could be confusion, as that seems like it could be a very common moniker, and two American bands named Outshined popped up while I was searching. The band I tried submitting is the crossover band from Richmond, VA. The other band that showed up in the search is the San Francisco, CA rock band. Which of the two was blacklisted?

Well, the blacklist note mentions it's "thrashy NYC-style hardcore". It must be the Crossover one you mention.

Just curious why the band I have been trying to submit "Human Agony" has been blacklisted?

I don't really understand the guidelines for submission on this site. Every band or release I've been involved with gets added by someone with incorrect information, but the one time I try to submit a band properly it is blacklisted.

A quick Google search turns up two cassette releases, multiple Facebook events for live shows, a live video, etc. Not really sure how to prove the band is real if those aren't sufficient.

According to the blacklist note the band was repeatedly submitted without the proper proof being provided in the submission. This happens sometimes when users can't comprehend what we require, even when the rejections messages clearly tell them. Anyway, post your evidence here for reconsideration.

This band was rejected because it's impossible to find online a proper distribution or a proof of a dr release.

this is a band created from Lua d'Inverno and Atomic Massacre members.
I have bought from Oriax Nocturna form Lua d'Inverno,they havn't a real website where you can buy the cd because they split up
after recordings(split also the copies to a half and a half- 25copies to lua and other 25 to atomic massacre) and the cds were printed (pro done).. than they sells to friends or others directly.

It is blacklisted for some reason. Please give me some more information about why, and if it is possible to unban the band?

I see. The band is originally from Ukraine, but they moved to California. The name of the album is "That's Why"

Yes, still no new releases. But honestly, I don't consider them as a "rock" band. Yeah some of the songs can be called "hard rock" but they have some metal stuff as well. That's just my opinion

Hello; yesterday I submitted a band called "Fuego Fatuo", and it got rejected because of the "valid release" reason. In this case, it did have a physical and digital release in 2011. I don't have photographic evidence of the physical one, but I have of the digital one (I submitted a link to the album, which used to be available officially on rapidshare but now is on bandcamp: https://fuegof.bandcamp.com/releases (it was always available on youtube, too). The note I received says the digital release should be "long enough (preferably over 20 minutes)", and in this case is 19:16 minutes long. I really think that if it should "PREFERABLY be over 20 minutes long", more than 19 minutes should be long enough...

Surprised to find Rope Sect (Ger) blacklisted considering they sound very much like Ghost (Swe), even slightly more metallic in my ears. Unless they were blacklisted before their album from this year?
