A band I sumbitted, called MUSCARIA was rejected, because apparently there is no evidence of their existence, but I know for sure their real, (seenem´live) and not only have they released a demo, but FOUR FULL-LENGTHS (plus they are quite popular here on Ecuador). However it is true that there´s not much information about them online, and it´s all in Spanish, and they don´t have an official website. So... please tell me what to do to prove they´re an actual band.

- photography of the album (be it a CD-R, CD, mc or vinyl)
- music (uploaded at rapidshare for instance)

offer as much evidence that the band exist as possible. Convince the moderators.

If you can, add the covers of the albums or better (if you own them), take a PICTURE of the cds so the mods can see the band released something physical

Anyway even if the info is in spanish, you can add it to show the band exists

We have so many moderators around here who can speak Spanish that the language would not really be a problem in this case.

Antonius, what proof would you need to, with a degree of certainty, be able to say that the band has released at least one physical release with mostly metal material?

As the others have said, photos of the whole thing (not just a jpg thumbnail from a computer-made cover art) helps for the physical release part. Any links to distros carrying the piece or mentions on band sites that you can buy the release are welcome to.

Reviews can help us judge the music and if it's physical or not, but unless it's a trusted source and there are no contradictions we generally request more than one (decent) review. Judging MP3s is by far the most accurate and, for us, easiest way to assess how metal a band is.

We have pretty much all Western European languages covered with some redundancy. It's mainly those wacky Asian languages that are problematic.
