Ive submitted a few bands, all with reasonable credentials, all accurate information, and Im wondering why they get deleted before the band sub. que even gets to it. For example an Italian Symphonic Black Metal Band I submitted got deleted the same day, less than an hour later, but some crust punk band has been in the que for a month now. Why?

Why is the grass green? Why is the earth spinning? Is there a G-Point? Those are the ever present eternal mysteries that influence our lives.


Frankly, I do not know, I do not remember every rejected band. The e-mails should help us to handle this. But generally, if they are no links to reviews, music samples or distros, it can happen, that it gets deleted pretty quickly to make place for submissions with reasonable proof.

The way the bands are processed and the choice of priority are based on a very complicated masterplan, which requires years of metal listening experience, rock magazines studies, combinatory logics, membership in diverse secret societies and the knowledge of Lovecraftian horrors which wait beyond our world. In short, it is nothing a feeble average human user like you could understand.

The thread starter has again submitted a band with an album listed, but with no links and no real results on google. So he has two days now before it gets deleted to flag it with more info, to be merciful with him.

He just wants to be annoying...

And difficult.
