I have some cover art I want to post, but my computer can't compress more than 51 and 57 kilobytes for two different pictures (no joke!). Can someone suggest something I can try to get the pictures on to the Archives? I've already gotten an update deleted, possibly because of lack of pictoral evidence.

I dont know what program do you use I use photoshop to compress resize enlarge and all this related work. I dont know what the hell does 50 kilobytes mean for a picture I know resolution counted in 300 pixels per inch/cm/what ever you want it to be.

Resize it, don't compress. I've noticed that at about 300x300 pixels they usually go down below 50 kb. Having a humongous pic that has to be opened in a separate window serves no purpose, really.

I second that. You get the picture smaller in size just by changing their size a bit. For the pictures here for the MA I use paint.net 3.0. A fast program which helps you doing it in no time.

I generally use IrfanView. Resolution 400x400, JPEG at 70% quality. It looks just fine.
