I ended up with a collection of local Illinois metal/thrash tapes and vinyl from a member of a local Chicago band who needed the money. I unloaded the really expensive vinyl and tapes via trades and sales in the early 2000s. Now, 15 years later, I found a shoebox of tapes that I still had. I was searching EM, looking for information on some of the tapes. I found a few that were not on the database. Since I'm a dummy, I screwed up the first one:

Not-Us No One Gets Out Alive 1990 full-length cassette.

It allowed me to enter only one song on side A, then somehow screwed up and saved that only. Now I cannot add the remaining songs to side A or side B.

What did I do wrong, and how can I fix it?

Flagging a report and let higher ranked users do the job is pretty much the only thing you can do to change it, I guess.

Really? I would have thought you could edit your own entries. It allows me to edit a few fields, but not the song list. Weird!

And I have a few tapes of bands not on EM, but I read the rules and they are so draconian that I'm afraid to enter them. Apparently, it doesn't take a lot to get banned for life. Not to mention, I no longer have a cassette player.

New users can add new information, but not modify what has already been entered, hence why you can only edit certain fields. When creating a new release, only one track is displayed by default but there's a link to add more.

You won't be banned without warning for an honest mistake...
