guys, would you please consider making an exception to the recent locking of the band submissions? there are some bands that I would like to add to the archives, not out of any personal interest or benefit, but because I think that the archives would not be complete without them...

one of them is Gnillort Cinatas, a local progressive ambient neofolk/black metal band/project with slight ska and djent influences. it's a one man band/project that is already making waves in the international black metal scene, despite not having recorded anything. but they started recording today, and the album will be ready within 2-3 months, a year tops.

as I said, there's no personal motivation behind this request, despite the leader, main composer and producer of the band being yours truly, but under the alias Evil Warmaster 999. I just want to make the archives more complete! I can make the initial submission now, and then you can accept it when the (double, or triple, not sure yet) album is out.

Gnillort Cinatas are named after a spell in Colin Alhazred (brother of Abdul)'s Necroeconomicon book, and use exclusively spells and occult chants as lyrics. they are very evil and menacing, according to all the people who have attended their shows.

I agree, it was a shocking move. I had spent loads of time circumventing the blacklist, working on a very detailed and full submission of Five Finger Death Punch... I was planning to submit it today... now all that time is wasted. Seems like we'll have to start a new website, for all metal bands that were never submitted to Metal Archives after the sad day of April 1st, 2018.
