I like to follow up on reports I'm involved in. Instead of having to bookmark each open report, or periodically check your unassigned, assigned, resolved, and recently closed reports (and having with for the awful load time on closed reports), it would be so much easier if there was a user option to receive an email notification (or just a website notification, similar to "your attention has been requested") every time a report you're involved in is updated in some way (commented, assigned, closed, or indeed deleted because the band/whatever it belonged to was deleted).

By the way, why is the load time for closed reports so terrible? If I go to My reports -> Closed, the load time is like 20-30 seconds. Same to change page or sorting. If I go to Reports -> Unassigned/Assigned/Resolved even though there are more reports in Unassigned or Resolved than in My reports -> Closed, the load time is about a second.
