we are going to release a video on youtube about my band lelahell
can i add it as a video release? in the band releases section?

Youtube videos themselves are not valid digital releases, as the music is streaming-only.

Video releases must be physical. So unless the video is pressed and distributed as a video (DVD or VCR), please don't add it. Thank you.

Sorry, just adding to that, by physical, I meant something somebody can actually download or possess.

So a video that's available for digital download is okay, as long as it's NOT streaming only. Which is what most "digital-only video releases" are (Vimeo, YouTube, etc). Which I'm sure yours is.

yes for the moment it is not downloadable
but when it will be, is it possible to put it in the releases section?

Yes, once there is a band sanctioned download of the album in FULL, it is a valid digital release.

Well, if it's a documentary about your country's scene and the band is only mentioned as part of the whole, well, it can't be considered a valid video release for your band.

Now, if it's a documentary about your band, and the Algerian Metal Scene is only mentioned as a background scenario, and it is a band-sanctioned documentary, it could be considered a valid video release. But based on your description, the case is the former, and not the latter.

it is a documentary about me , my past bands and my actual bands including UG activities (zines, festival organisations, ...)

Streaming-only, not a valid digital release.

And even if a download link was provided, this is about the artist more than any specific band. I don't think this is a valid release as per our rules, but it could be mentioned in the band's additional notes or something.
