I replied to a post I didn't know was sent a long time ago (until know) and I got a warning. Why is that? And what do the warnings do?

Then why are you asking why you received it? I honestly think you are trolling sometimes.

To clarify, the warnings simply document the infractions on your forum profile. You don't automatically get reprimanded/banned if you receive X number of them. It is ultimately up to the moderation.

You'll survive.... maybe.
