I believe this album should be deleted (correct me if I'm wrong):

This album was first released by The Offering (Pre-Duskwalker).

They just switched logos. Both are digital releases.

The album art, album title, track listing and release date are exactly the same.

(Issue from the post above fixed. In the future please just put a report in, since The Offering's release came first and Duskwalker has a release of their own, so neither should be deleted from the site and that is what this thread is specifically for. The reissue under a changed name stays on the site in cases like this, as an additional version of the original, but shows up on both band pages).

Will do. I didn't mean for the band to be deleted. It was more of a question, why did they get accepted on that album when The Offering released the exact same album but I now noticed in the edits of the page that the album was added after Duskwalker was accepted.

Waste Lagoon (Norway) - very borderline. Moderators might want to double check it. To me it falls more toward progressive rock with metal moments.

Russian death metal/grindcore band Knights of the Temple got deleted as it appears to be the way Barbatos Prods announced their releases of music by Russian death metal/grindcore band Hitler in 2018.

Consensus was that it's glam with a few trad metal moments. Borderline, but overall not enough to keep the band. Deleted.

Almost entirely hardcore punk. This got accepted based on the 1988 EP back in V1, but that full EP wasn't actually added to the page until V2, which makes me wonder if the samples were selectively chosen. Could not find more than a single track from the 2016 reunion EP, but that track was also punk, so I'm comfortable nuking it.


Waste Lagoon (Norway) and Panama Speed (Germany) will be followed up on soon.

At the moment, we're gonna mark this one as "inconclusive". The 2000 EP you linked is definitely nu-metal, but there's no samples to be found for the 1996 or 1998 demos, and the staff is hesitant to just nuke an old V1 entry based on hearing only 1/3 of their discography. While it's possible they always played nu-metal and were just a sloppy addition, they could just as equally have been an acceptable groove metal band whose sound changed with the times.

For now, the band will stay, but if anyone finds their earlier work to evaluate, we can reconsider at that time.

"Animals" album is metal in my opinion. Unusual doom-influenced heavy metal with psychedelic rock elements.

The band Amsvartnit from Italy got deleted as its music was found out to actually be dungeon synth/ambient.
