Maybe they look like a nu metal band but they sound ok. Though they have some -core influences, they are ok to be on the archives.
.

are you kidding me? This is nu-metal. Even though, one things sure, they don't belong on this site

Mmh, I'll will take the time to have a closer listening.

Sorry, I usually make sure I don't do that but this time I didn't realize it. When the report comes in, it automatically takes us to the editband page.

Ur Falc'h (previously known as Nordmen) haven't released anything under their new name. According to the MySpace site of Ur Falc'h, CD is coming in October, but that's pretty far away. Oh, and "Vertus Guerrieres" is listed twice in Nordmen's discography. Different format and a different cover - does it justify the release to be listed twice?

I won't bother about Ur Falc'h. As for the two releases, I also don't mind listing a demo and then the rerelease as a full-lenght with different artwork, like Nokturnal Mortum's Lunar Poetry.

Molk: I've deleted the last entry.

Now seriously, the band is borderline, but not really nu-metal, it may be on the wrong side of it, but I would wait for more opinions. The samples are very short and with shitty sound quality, but they seem to have too much modern elements at times for my tastes, even if some other parts sound reasonably modern thrash to me.

To repost the same thing over and over will bring you only the banhammer, sooner or later.

We will seriously think about it, when you show, that you are able to write at least six sentences long post ....

PFFF that pisses me off..

The band founder submits the band with notes "demo X ..." limited x copies and then says that there is no demo :fuck:

He should be banned directly for that kind of offense

Sarcasm from France have no info about a release and the only link is a dead link. On top of a dodgy genre description of thrash/hardcore.

As for Sarcasm... At the moment I'm trying to find some info on them.

They have released a CD on Thundering Records:

short review:

"Sarcasm (Fra) – Concession CD (Thundering Records 2001) 33.27

Sarcasm is a French threepiece with Titus on drums, Niku on guitar and vocals and Rastan on the other guitar. With "Concession" they released their debut album, after several appearances on compilation albums. Sarcasm plays a micx between modern thrash metal and metalcore and especially in the midtempo parts they remind me a lot of Crusher’s "Act II; undermine" album and also the Belgian hardcore band Sixty Nine came to mind when listening to the album. "Concession" contains great stuff, with lyrics both in English and French, and I really hope they will sell enough records in this overfloaded market of nowadays"

Have you actually heard the band Sea Hags?

The reviews and articles I have read on them suggest they are more of hard rock/glam band.

Example:

http://www.sleazegrinder.com/flashmetalseahags.htm

that while much of the Sea Hags album was somewhat forgettable- roadhouse-bluesey, barband lyrics and rehashed Aerosmith dinosaur-rock riffs, it did have more songs to reccommend it than the much-beloved junkie-glam anthem, "Halfway Valley". I still prefer the brooding sleaze of vocalist Ron Yokum defiantly belting out "Miss Fortune" or "Too Much", to say, anything, really, in the L.A. GUNS catalog. They DID write a song called "Too Much T-Bone", though, which probably had something to do with why electric wizard, IAN ASTBURY, reigned on his previous offer to help produce 'em.
http://www.heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/g ... e=Sea+Hags
I dig this cassette, and am trying to find the cd. Nice and Heavy, with a touch of glam meets biker rock
I'm not sure what kind of drugs you guys are taking, but the Sea Hags were not your typical glam 80's rock band. This is pure bar blues rock! SH had good musicians but Yocum's vocals resemble many other singers back in that time--not a whole lot of distinction. Frankie rips and he later joined the band Arcade in '93 (buy the 1st, avoid the 2nd cd). If you are looking for 80's glam, you have come to the wrong place. Check out FP, Poison, Motley Crue, Jetboy, Ratt, etc for your glam fix. 7.9/10.0.
Recently aquired this on CD after having it on cassette since it first came out. This band were fucking smoking! Should have been a LOT bigger in my opinion. Under The night Stars, Half The Way Valley.... fuck it... not one bad song on the album. Killer stuff if you like sleazy bluesy dirty hard rock.

At least nothing is mentioned at the site. I sent the band a private message through Mikseri asking if they have released anything. I'll let you know what they said as soon as they get back to me.

I am not very good in saying what is metal enough and what is not, so I'll just ask: Are Bleeding Heart really metal enough? I have always considered them a hardcore band with some metal influences, but that might be because they are on a HC label and look like HC guys.

There are hearable thrash riffs, which dominate their sound throughout all the sample tracks, that's why I accepted them. They don't have much in common with current trendy american metalcore and emo. They sound a bit like Pro-Pain on their second album.

Is this band actually real? Where could it have found five members on an uninhabitant island?

wikipedia wrote:
Despite its remote location and barren nature, the island has seen some commercial activities in past centuries, such as coal mining, fishing and whaling. However, no settlements have lasted more than a few years, and Bjørnøya is now uninhabited with the exception of the meteorological station personnel. Along with the adjacent waters, it was declared a nature reserve in 2002.

No apparent releases, and the only link is dead. Did a search, and found a site that had some material rumoured to be out, but nothing official released, as far as I searched. If anyone can point me to a link proving any of their rumoured releases to be official, I would like to know.

I digged through the google cache:

http://72.14.221.104/search?q=cache:e-C ... =clnk&cd=2

It seems to be the tracklisting of the demo from 1992. It was not, it was of another release called "DEmoCrAcY"

EDIT:
Even better:
