Hi, I'm still pretty new to the site and don't know all the tricks to contributing. I have recently uploaded my record collection to Discogs and now would like to do the same here. I have multiple releases in my collection where the exact release date is unknown. However, I don't know how to set the release date as "unknown" here in MA. I have tried leaving the "year" field blank, but then I get a message saying that the year is mandatory. I have seen album versions with an "unknown" release date here in MA, so it must be possible somehow. Does it have something to do with my rank?. I'm only a Metalhead so far.

Only other versions can have the release date set as "Unknown". I believe adding them with that "release date" requires veteran rank or higher.

Yeah I think I phrased my message a bit poorly. All the releases I plan on adding are alternative versions of albums already listed on the site. I guess I have to file reports about them then.
