Seems like I'm averaging about 5 reviews a day, not too bad considering I'm getting pummeled by a massive head cold and still working my usual hours. I may shift over to reviewing EPs and demos for a bit in the coming days to try and push that average up a little bit, but I'll probably struggle to beat the 50 review count I hit a year ago. |

Hello I would like to participate in the review challenge, but out of Secret Satan, I already have some virgins to review in mind, it's that okay? |

Sure. Just submit reviews like you would normally do, and you'll be counted in the daily tally. |

my secret santana is up now, hope to do 1 more review tonight as i likely wont have time for the rest of the challenge. My goal before the challenge was 7 so i'll be content if i do make it. |

Us metalheads, we're all Santana-worshippers. But just the classic stuff. None of this Michelle Branch bullshit. |

Thanks must go to TheStormIRide for reviewing not only my Secret Satan recommendation, but also the album before it too! I would have said almost exactly the same thing about Kyterion, so I don't need to bother now. |

I felt like covering both allowed me to show why Inferno II is so much stronger than the debut (which was never slouch by the way). I really can’t wait to hear conclusion. Somehow I slept on those guys, so thanks for the great recommendation. I’m hoping to cover at least one of the other choices, time allowing. I got hosed last night by getting called into work for six extra hours. |

They seemed to me singularly unvaried, yet skilful. So I'm kind of glad that was the angle you came from! |

Couldn't do one today, Municipal Waste concert took precedence. I'm gonna try and squeeze in at least one more virgin either tomorrow during lunch or Saturday before the Paul Simon show! |

Whelp, after getting my ass handed to me by this cold last evening (hence the reason I only fielded one review yesterday), I managed to polish off 5 more today, including one of Mystic Twilight that I realized GOOFAM had already hit while I was literally halfway through writing it. |

I just did a double take when seeing that, as the scores were all of one percent apart. Glad we brought slightly different approaches to the table while largely agreeing. |

Yeah I wound up being crazy busy this week too. I got two down, and hopefully I'll be able to hammer out a few others on my list this weekend but who knows at this point. Timing wasn't quite right this time, oh well, I got Secret Satan finished this time at least. |

I'm stuck right near the New Jersey border a bit north of Philadelphia, but still somehow managing to be surrounded by clean air, trees and wildlife. We've got terrible roads, but plenty of space. |

Whelp, it looks like I'll end up hitting a couple more albums that were already hit by other reviewers just prior to me. Wasn't going to let the new Tad Morose slip by even though Empyreal got to it earlier today, and I'm still probably going to review the new Gruesome album. After that, everything else on my list will hopefully not be hit by anyone else. lol |

Yeah, hence why I did them anyway, I'm just trying not to duplicate too many virgins as one of the goals of the challenge to hit as many non-reviewed albums as possible. |

Dammit! Someone beat me to the Dreadful Fate album and that was gonna be my last one! Oh well, I'll attack it later as well probably. Re: Pennsylvania discussion. I was actually in Philly last night, didn't realize that there were this many PA metallers on here either, haha. The climate can be annoying (especially in the winter) but I like how everything (big cities, beaches, mountains, etc.) are 3 hours or less away. |

It meant something to get one done for this challenge, so I did Diamhea would have done - I clicked the "random band" button and checked a page over for errors. I gave the band a few listens over the last week, and wrote a review that nobody will ever read. Fitting. |

Thought it was kind of a fun conincidence that you reviewed a demo from 1986 and mentioned Journey, and around the same time i submitted a review for an old band's 2014 album, mentioned Journey as well and said that it sounded like they hadn't updated their synths since 1986. |
