No, too core-based, especially the first half, the second one gets a bit riffier, but not enough to outweight that.

There's some extra bits, like those couple thrash metal/deathcore songs, but the rest (I'm a little over halfway) does seem to be more breakdown-orientated than riff-oriented, sadly.

Not sure what caused the blacklist, I apologize I'm new to the community. They released a new album Feb. 2nd that's pretty good, "Death: An Anthology".

Am I tripping or was this band listed here not too long ago? Did they suddenly not become metal enough? They're quite obviously very technical, progressive, and even thrashy at moments. The album Embodiment alone is incredibly tech death and the hardcore influences overall are pretty negligible. They're not a hardcore band by any sense of that word.

The band is blacklisted since 2014 for being too -core, so it could be the former.
