Don't blame me. Blame the doofus at MTV that wrote the thing.

Rattus: my wife is the same. She buys s or m sized men shirts, then she cut the necks up to the shoulder so the get a nice and wide round neck which looks womanly but not bitchy. This way you can also find tons of cool shirts.

The article appears to be primarily about macking on girls at shows. And here the title sounded like a serious demographic study.

Yeah, I saw that on facebook. Quite clearly the pinnacle of music journalism and human intelligence.

Here's an infinitely superior article relating to metal and women:

Rattus, just go with girlie shirts. They'll compliment your body without making you look out of shape. Look high and low and you'll find some good designs. Short of making your own t-shirts or finding a one of kind designer, that seems to be your best option.

My issue is there's not enough colours. I like variety, not just black, blacker black and the odd white.

Yeah but as I again mentioned before, unless I look at super popular bands that I like, they tend to not have women's shirts. Oh yeah and men's shirts tend to have much better designs too either way. I think I'll be ordering this shirt though, despite the comments made here about using 3d logos as an excuse to stare at a woman's chest.

DEFINITELY agree about colours too. More green shirts would be nice. :oh shit:

I'm confused by the "bitchy" thing, but cutting the shirts that way might be a good idea!

Gypaetus: I wear regular jeans and won't go tighter than that :P I hate tight clothing. I go more for form-fitting stuff.

Rattus: Haha fair enough. I find skinny jeans more comfortable than regular ones, so I just wear them and old Docs all day every day.

Hey, can anybody tell me what Swashbuckle sounds like? Been listening to Alestorm, and I'm kind of interested to see a pirate-themes band that comes from a thrash metal background.

Also, we all know Running Wild is superior. Lets not kid ourselves.

I'm tempted to contact Abyssal on the bandcamp page and see if there's any updates. If someone's already done so then spill the beans!

AGREED. I don't know how other women can wear high heels for extended periods of time. They hurt my feet and on top of that make walking such a conscious effort. Otherwise, I'm likely to trip and fall over. Literally the first time I tried stilettos, I fell over a few seconds after trying them on right in the store. >.< I was upset and yelled something like "HOW DO YOU PEOPLE EVEN WALK IN THESE THINGS?!"

Slay a dragon to get the girl, except the dragon is a person and a U.S. president. I don't know if that's power or black metal.

Its a tough one.
He's clearly crazy and that points to Black Metal, but his motive is of a romantic nature(sort of) which points to Power Metal. I think the fact that he's forty and still lives with his mom clinches it for Black Metal

So, how many of you other Americans are pumped for tomorrow? It's pretty much the highlight of the year for me, and I've been looking forward to it since, well, last year I suppose. It's always great how pretty much our entire country, despite being split on what we hope the results will be, can come together to celebrate one of our most important pastimes.

Anyways, my predictions:
Spoiler: show
We'll have winter for six more weeks, but it'll still be a memorable Groundhog Day.

Yeah there's no doubt we'll have 6 more weeks of winter. At this point, probably more because it just seems like IT WON'T FUCKING END.

As for sportsball, don't care. I did win $400 last year from squares at my last job, so that was pretty cool.

I think it was something about asses moving when a woman walks and the middle ages, I dunno. A little research says it was used for those riding horses so their foot wouldn't slip out of the stirrups. I heard that middle ages thing somewhere and for some reason it sounds more accurate.

Excellent post. I stand to win a bunch of money off suckers who have absolutely no idea how to parse the stats to make an accurate prediction on these sorts of things.

I always cringe when someone comments that high heels make a woman's butt or legs look better. No, they don't. People who by the end of the night are angry and in pain because they decided to follow a wholly unwanted fashion norm don't look better because of it. Shoes are devices which protect your feet from sharp objects while staying comfortable. That is their function. If you have to take your "shoes" off and walk barefoot to the bus stop because it hurts too much to walk 1 block in them, then they are worthless as shoes. It's like a car tire that increases friction on the road, it's pointless.

Here's a dirty little secret, ladies: almost no man notices when you are wearing heels unless you are taking them off, commenting about how much they hurt, or falling over wearing them. That's it. They don't make you look better. Any man that tells you otherwise is the sort of man who fantasizes about becoming a bank executive at HSBC so he can set the dress code for his cute secretaries he spends the whole day watching bend over to pick up the TPS reports he "accidentally" dropped.
