I would say when i was like 5 seriously lol. I was playing with lego and headbanging to judas priest-British Steel.

The first folder in my downloads folder dates back to the end of 2011. That's the time when I discovered what downloading was, because up until then I either bought everything or made youtube playlists. Although at the earliest of downloads, I see a lot of stuff I know I wasn't getting into for a while after I started getting into metal music. I suppose the very furthest I can see to when I really first started getting into metal music was my old youtube account which has the first metal song I ever discovered and favorited. I'm not sure it has time stamps on that kind of thing though. So I'd say 2, maybe more or less 3 years. Definitely a bit earlier than late 2011. It's really the first thing I've ever really been into. Before I only listened to the well known classic rock like the beatles and the doors and genesis and whatever my parents had in their iTunes or on CD (which wasn't half bad).

Still, I envy all these people who have this kind of exposure to this sort of thing from a young age. I wish I could have had that kind of head start.
