I suppose the band may be lashing out as well, though I didn't get that from the video. Maybe I'm just automatically on the side of thrash in all things, even mediocre thrash. I'm sure I'd be jumping to defend thrash metal from a song called "Thrash Metal Sucks."

Cool. Yeah, I know about that dance specifically because of my father's particular obsessions, which I heard no end of as a kid. It was mostly to the good in the end though!

Ehh Black metal is such an easy target is all. Thrash less so. LK don't pull that joke band excuse, they just have fun. People wouldn't make such a big stink if they made top notch music, which is always an amusing aspect. They are just some guys with a mediocre home studio making mediocre thrash (though still enjoyable for me, obviously) with fun personalities.

Yeah, he's all into tango these days and brags constantly about how he always dances with girls less than half his age (he's sixty-two.)

Huh, never really thought they made it that far north. I guess I'm just judging by cities like Detroit, Cleveland, or Minnesota, none of these have super dense latino populations.

Lich king is such a crappy band, I had a conversation with the dude who uploaded the video, one of the members of the band, and told them I didn't like them I thought they weren't as good as other new thrash bands and weren't funny.Then after I beat him in the argument, he goes and removes most of my comments, except the ones that make him look good, and blocks me from commenting and does a final reply which I of course cannot reply to to make it look like he "won". The dude cannot take criticism at all and has to reply to every single comment about someone not liking his band. Maybe if he actually took some criticism of his band they would actually be halfway decent. I bet he scans forums all the time to see if people like his band. I bet he is reading this post right as we speak.

I'm not into their music at all; I only liked that song (because it's amusing). I can't stand 99.9% of retro-thrash.

I wasn't being very rude about it though, what I said was: "Its okay but too generic, I'll take the old school thrash bands over any of these new revival type bands anyday, except for Vektor who are awesome and are the exception. At least the lyrics are sorta funny." I didn't expect him to get so offended by my comments and start a whole conversation trying to prove me wrong and make it look like his band is good and funny and calling me names and acting like a butthurt little kid.

I liked World Gone Dead but the early stuff is awful.

You really set yourself up for a fall by writing any sort of "___ sucks" song. Tends to simply make you look like more of a tard than anything. Especially when the vehicle for said defamation is bullshit in its own right.

Glad they're worth the wait for you. What a great sounding band. Their new album Sedition fucking slays. It had me banging my head, and I'm an old fart who does that very rarely. They sound like Nile if Nile didn't try to cram 40 friggin' songs into one and just stuck with one idea per song. And I love Nile. I'm going to see them with this line-up in April: Nile, Skeletonwitch, Hour of Penance, and The Black Dahlia Murder. I won't stay for TBDM, though. I hate that band.
