Renaissance - Live at Carnegie Hall (1976)

Absolutely phenomenal and iconic performance. The last three minutes of "Ashes Are Burning is quite possibly my favorite moment in prog rock history; Annie's wails are mind-blowing! I'm not usually a fan of live albums either, but this one just kills it.

Renaissance sounds like Yes meets Jethro Tull, but with a female singer; a good metal comparison would be Scardust.

I don't usually like putting a band's most popular album as my favorite, but I can't help but do it for AC/DC. The fact that this album even came out is kind of a miracle, and I wouldn't call any song off it "filler".

I honestly haven't gotten around to listening to anything by GG since his discography is so large and hard to comb through.

Mmm. They're choking-on-shit awful. Horribly edgy humor, blatantly bigoted lyrics, and terrible music. They seem to exist to suck massively in every way possible, and boy do they accomplish that goal. Their Fuckin A album is sort of funny sometimes, but that's where I draw the line.

I still haven't heard a single Anal Cunt song, and I intend to keep it that way. The song titles are enough of an indication. I knew this chick who was a metalhead, but she only listened to mainstream metalcore and deathcore. I asked her about grindcore, and she said "the only grindcore band I listen to is Anal Cunt". How is that a thing?

I know a girl who isn't even into metal and she still has heard of and enjoys Anal Cunt. I'm pretty sure those who enjoy them do because they're basically a meme/shitpost band before meme/shitpost bands were a thing. And also because the people who like them probably have terrible senses of humor.
