This may seem random, but oh well

The first expirence i ever had that would set my past as a "car guy" occured when I was 9 years. I was at a flea market with my parents and I saw it: an all black beast that mesmerized me even as a child Never had i seen a car with such simplicity and beauty at the same time, such angles and yet such simple almost playful curves. This car turned out to be a 86' Monte Carlo SS.
Image
Ooooh yeah. Althought now that I maintain that i'd rather have a Buick Grand national
Image The may LOOK a little similar, but they are very, very different

Young love <3

I have a 2008 honda civic and my lease is expiring soon. My parents want to just buy the car but I want a pick up and they won't get one for me...

Those fucking pricks. Have you told them how displeased you are?

Man, those newer honda civics are NICE, they almost seem like they're turning into luxury cars. Did you mess with it at all? performance-wise?

American cars suck, only japanese is real.

Currently have a holden apollo station wagon (basically a rebadged camry). Not the coolest looking car ever but very cheap to run, comfy, drives surprisingly well, has a lot of ground clearance and is a great "chuck all my shit in the back and go down south for a week" car.

Next car will probably be a Hilux (fantastic cars) or perhaps a 2nd hand Landcruiser. Also, Land Rover Defenders are possibly the coolest looking cars in the world, but I'll take less aesthetic appeal for the toughness/reliability/ease of parts that the toyota 4wds have.

Simmer down, girls.

I'm not one for either tuner cars nor "classic" cars; luxury/luxury sport all the way.

The Bentley Continental GT.

Image

Second choice is probably the Maserati Gran Turismo.

Image

Third is the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe:

Image

After that it's a toss-up between the Ferrari Enzo, Aston Martin DBS, and Bugatti Veyron, just for shits 'n' gigs.

the veyron looks great. It's fast but it still looks really classy, y'know? It's pretty much the only supercar that I really care about.

Ha! I own a 2004 Pontiac Aztek. Google it and have a laught at my expense.

My wife drives a 2009 Honda Civic, and you're right, that car is pretty sweet, espcially for the price.

Neither one of us is a car enthusiast, though.

I found this out the hard way-a Ford (Escort), a Chevy (S-10), and a Pontiac (the afforementioned Aztek), all shit beyond belief. Going either Honda (Fit or Civic) or Nissan (Versa) for my next purchase.

Old cars are awesome. The majority of the cars I see on the road today are ugly as hell. My granddad has a really cool '67 corvette.

My previous car was an Audi A6 Quattro from 1994. Unfortunately, some asshole in a Chevy Sierra smashed into me, sending me spinning into another car before hitting the guardrail.

The Veyron is ok, but Aston Martin are a lot cooler, and have more class. I'm a big Ferrari fan, my favourites would be the F430 and the new 458 Italia (even if they do tend to catch on fire...). Gorgeous.

458 Italia

My other favourites include the Audi R8 (the V10 version) and all wheel drive RS6 sedan (who wouldn't want a twin turbo Lambo V10?).

R8 V10

Also love almost anything from the after market Mercedes tuner AMG. But I/we drive a 2004 Mazda 6, which we both love due to it's comfort and standard inclusions. Exactly the same as this except in metallic red

I'll never get people's obsession with different types of cars. Some people I know have feuds based on what car you like. Christ, it's just a machine. And I don't see people posting threads about their favorite photocopiers or washing machines.

I have a 1991 Peugeot 205 turbodiesel for commuting, my average gas mileage is 4 L/100 km (60 mpg) and I've already achieved 3,45 (68 mpg) on a whole tank using hypermiling techniques. I've been driving like this since the 2008 gas price peak.
I also have a 1985 Peugeot 305 wagon for all what becomes durty, 700.000 km and still going strong.
Modern cars (at least in Europe) have incredibly high maintenance costs with all the electronic stuff. I'll stick with these cars as long as I can.

Gonna have to agree with you on that. The trans-am is the sort of car that makes you want to cut a mullet, drink cheap beer, and blast Judas Priest. The close rival would be of course the Corvette Stingray.

I drive one of these, a 1987 Jaguar XJ6 Sovereign. The paint job is messed up pretty bad on mine (and the steering wheel is on the proper side), but other than that it's in pretty good condition.

Thirded on the Trans Am, by the way. That thing's badass

This is what the love of my life looks like:

Image

Only difference is I don't have the license plate retardedly placed on the front of the car covering up the firebird emblem and my rims are so much cooler and much more shiny.

Oh, and in case you were wondering... Yes, it is fast.

I drive a black '97 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup with a 5 inch lift, beast shocks, an aluminum toolbox in back, loud ass headers and exhaust, and camo seat covers. I could almost pass for a hillbilly, but I love my truck. Next modification is a giant band logo sticker for the back window. I'm thinking either Mayhem or Suffocation, maybe Obituary. Any suggestions for what logo?

my favorite car is the 1987 buick regal grand national. the fastest american production cars to leave the line from 84-87. they only had a v-6, but it was turbo charged, and the cars outran the corvette in the quarter mile. those were real mean fucking street machines. they looked sick as hell too, and only came in one color. BLACK.

i don't know what i'd consider a metal car. probably something like a 78 malibu in primer gray, just a mean lookin' car that looks like dog shit, but will blow the doors off most anything. you can't beat the awesomeness that is a chevy 350, HO HO HO HO

My current car is an 88' Electra with the V6 and that bitch screams even though it looks like a granny should be driving it. I've never owned a car with a nicer interior too. Buick had some good ideas back then while many other companies were scratching their heads...
