I don't have any lame jokes to introduce myself with, but I live in Cape Town, some of you may or may not remember a fellow in Metal Rules by the name of 'Human' (I see some familiar faces here too). Anyway, that fellow was me. I listen to just about all metal, but mostly doom, black, death and thrash, a lot of rock, classic rock, space rock, stoner, rock n' roll and other rock music and things like that. I was reading through the 'banned' list and it's a big fucking list, I think I'm not enough of an asshole to be in though, but I'm open to invitations I guess. But seriously though, be seeing you.

Hey there, metalheads. I came across this website from the JasonRivera.com chat room, where Morrigan used to sometimes pop in, ages ago, and she asked me to test a website of hers for bugs... This was when my username was Chewbacca. My creativity was peaked here... Anyways, years went by and I was looking for information on Kylesa after seeing them live, and I stumbled on a familiar looking website..

For my musical tastes, I get called an indie snob as much as I get called a metalhead, which shuns me from both groups quite often. For metal, I prefer most of the At the Gates influenced 'Gothenburg' bands, some metalcore, stoner/sludge ala Kyuss, along others.

I do have some tendencies to pop in Nargaroth too. They're an exception, though, since I dislike most BM groups. I'm always open to anything for a listen, though.

I'll omit my other musical favorites, since I'm pretty sure nobody wants to hear about the Arcade Fire album, and just how damn catchy it is.

And just to make a few friends out of the gates, I really dislike Slayer.

Well I'm mainly possessed by black fucking metal. I have an dark ambient/black metal project of mine that I fuck around with. Really hypnotic and droning type material. I don't release the stuff outside of a few friends usually. Black metal is my curse. It has taken and raped my soul.

I also like thrash metal.
