The funniest thing about this entire "event" was that cunt Joe McElderry's response to the whole thing. He acts as if he has an unalienable right to having a Christmas #1 single. What a prick.

Say what you will about RATM, I'll gladly see some angsty man-children screaming FUCK YOU I WONT DO WHAT YOU TELL ME!!! on the top spot as opposed to whatever overproduced, soulles, fake-emotional piece of drivel a bunch of studio suits whipped up.

If only to add the insult to this McElderry bitch who'll hopefully blow his brains out after realising he's a worthless turd with nothing but a pretty face and voice to justify his fleeting 15 minutes of fame.

He goes to college in CSU Northridge. I know this because a girl I know has friends that make fun of him every day. He has slightly LESS balls than the guys in Rage, which is sad.

I have a friend from Scottland who told me about this in our last email. He participated against Cowell. I really don't care what goes on the charts but good for Rage Against The Machine, the top forty need to broaden their musical tastes instead of playing the same things over and over again.

Since Rage managed to defeat the X-Factor winner, you think we'll see more artists/bands stand up against Simon Cowell and his bullshit?

What bullshit?! Who cares?! "Durp durp, we are fighting to save the world! Simon Cowell is like zomfg fascist ruining everything! Row row, fight the power!"

RatM share ideals about as developed and relevant as the kids I went to school with that thought Communism was TOTALLY FUCKING COOL.

I myself like RATM. I don't know what they expect, but if they are donating to charity against corporate bs, then I'm all for it :)

I dont know why everyone is hating on ratm so much. Its true that they influenced alot of god awful numetal bands but that first album is absolutly amazing.

Just because they influenced nu metal doesn't mean they are nu metal.
