What are some funny names that you've seen through your life?

In Norway, Emo is an actual name, imagine that. Not many people have that fortunately though, just some old people.

And many surnames end with "violence" when translated, some surnames (translated to English) are "church violence", "farm violence" or even "fetus violence". So if your first name is Steingrim and your last name is Fostervold, your name in English would literally be translated as Stone Grim Fetus Violence. How badass is that? :D

Changing your name into ridiculous things are also allowed. There's a guy who has "cola vending machine" as his middle name.

Not that I know the person, but I do remember a (possibly) Sergeant in the US National Guard (or TA or whatever you guys have) who had changed his name to Optimus Prime. How retarded yet hilarious. This was years and years ago, I bet he was happy those movies came out.

I always thought Guy was a funny name for someone. Pretty common in Britain but haven't seen it here in the US. May as well start naming girls 'girl'.

Gross is a common surname and I would be embarrassed if I had to grow up with that in middle school.

My cousin's name is Benjamin Jeremy and has gone by BJ his whole life. Must have sucked for him in middle and high school.

My first name(s) is Odd Martin, no shit. Odd is somewhat common here in Norway.

I always thought it was strange how some names can be for guys or girls like Alex, and Ashley.

And Moses is a common Jewish name yet I have never heard of anyone named Jesus...

I think it's a fairly common South American name.

Fjart Bengrot.

Brazilians(especially ignorant brazilians) have the bad habit of trying to give english names to their sons to sound exotic. The problem is:Most of the time they don't know how to speak portuguese properly. The results are things like Maycon(Michael), Uilson(Wilson), Geison(Jason), etc.

We also have people with middle names like Pinto(Penis), and lots of surnames that are names of fruits and trees.
There was a guy that was named 1 2 3 Da Silva(yes, one two three)

Edit:Yes, Jesus is a kinda common name around here.

I believe Jesus is the 2nd most common name in the world. The 1st most common is Muhammed.
