At school, to kids come into class arguing over who would win in a fight between a male grizzly bear and a male silverback gorilla. It soon spread throughout the class. I thought it was easily the bear, due to the claws and the weight advantage, but the kid who started the argument still maintains it's the gorilla. He thinks the gorillas 4 arms and dexterity will save it. I'm skeptical

Mutant gorillas ALWAYS win. Because they have eyebeams.

Are we talking about a Bear the same size? I ask because a fully grown male Grizzly could easily be 600 pounds whereas a Gorilla that size is not the norm. I would go with the Grizzly either way, as they have bigger claws, and bigger jaws (and teeth). They also have a skull like rock.
