This footage took place in the Vaughan Metropolitan Center subway station, the northernmost terminal station of the TTC. Normally, train arriving here reverse back into the tunnel it came from.
But this one is different. Watch closely.

This post feels like a creepypasta

Maybe it was going to get washed; I watched a documentary years ago about some advanced underground system (perhaps in Japan or somewhere in Europe) in which they showed special (''secret/hidden'') tunnels where trains go to get washed automatically, like cars, and people get inside to clean them as well if I remember correctly.

Look closely. It is going beyond the terminus. Not often seen.

I'm with Osore. Other tracks exist for maintenance purposes. This could easily be the case, with whatever traffic that normally happens delayed temporarily to allow the car to pull through.

Be it trains, metros or tramways, it's extremely rare for tracks to physically end at some line's terminal station; there's always some extra space for maneuverability or emergencies (like a siding or a loop), as well as structures like depots and garages.
What the video shows looks like an off-duty train getting off the main line, that's all.

A conductor enters the control booth near the end of the video. I can't tell if it's the same person who might have exited, or where this person might have come from if there was no one in the booth to start with.
