I've really been digging his stuff lately, I'm not usually a rap kinda guy but his album Plagues especially is full of hooks, it's dark and really something I find myself listening to a lot.

What do you guys think?

I LOVE him. I have all of his album from Bandcamp, and they're all really cool.

Yeah, I dig Ghostemane. Excited to see what he puts out this year. Some tracks are hit and miss for me, but I love his brand of really dark and subversive trap overall. And obviously his whole aesthetic is familiar in a comforting and inviting way for metalheads.

He makes very hit or miss music. I wish he'd stop trying to take so much black metal influence and just focus on writing good hip hop songs. I love his songs when it's not him trying to mix the genres.

I just recently became a HUGE Bones fan. Posted about him on the FFA trying to hook in a few people, but no dice.

With that said GHOSTMANE came up as a suggested artist on Soundcloud but I wasn't feeling his stuff to the same degree at all. It felt a lot more forced-aggression kind of like the nu-metal of rap if that makes sense.

BONES on the other hand is ultra-believable to me. Just a scummy, weirdo dude who can rap. His older shit as Th@ Kid is really weird, much less ethereal.

I really want to like Ghostemane. I found some of his stuff goofy and fun. But if you have a background in the occult or have read much occult literature, he gets real cringe-y real quick. Especially that Kybalion face-tat. Good lord.
