Well, 88 is old as fuck, to be honest, so "only 88" seems a bit of a silly thing to say. That said he has been extraordinarily active in his old age, a very fine voice actor who clearly had tons of energy. Not to mention just a huge legacy of great entertainment and generally being a super nice guy! Sad stuff. RIP.

I'm super-nostalgic towards his Batman since it's one of my earliest memories of watching anything on a TV.

As lame as Family Guy could be, Adam West was consistently funny despite being probably twice as old as anyone else on the show. RIP.

Yeah family guy was atrocious however batman and the outer limits certainly do not stink, far from it. RIP!

I always liked Adam West. I got to meet him at the Calgary Comic Con back in 2012; genuinely one of the nicest guys there. Will be sorely missed. He lived a good life.

So in the last couple weeks we've lost a James Bond and a Batman. Let's hope this doesn't come in threes.

That's right I had forgotten Roger Moore has also passed away very recently. Tough month.

Never saw the old Batman with him, but from interviews I've seen and what I've heard from others he seemed like a real swell guy. Have a good journey, Adam.

They'll probably get an impersonator to replace him rather than retire the character, as opposed to how they handled Troy McClure on the The Simpsons. They have no shame, so why not?

Pretty swell guy who never took himself too seriously, with hilarious results. Dude's gonna be missed.

RIP. His campy Batman portrayal will remain as iconic as ever. His Family Guy character was extremely hit-and-miss for me, but the last one I saw literally had me in tears.
