Saw this band name on the front page today:

https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/He ... 3540541261

Clicked it just to check whether it has anything to do with raisins. (It does not.)

Missed a golden opportunity there, I say. They could really use a visual update.

Spoiler: show

Probably not, but does anyone know why Panzer Division Marduk isn't on Spotify? Most of their other stuff is. Same question for Anal Cunt, most of their stuff isn't on there.

Cranking "Dark Side Of The Moon", munching on pizza, and going to get fucked up. Watching the sky and the shadows from the trees is more fascinating, in my opinion. So, inside I will stay.

Look at this fucking cover. Is that an Orthodox-style halo, but a saw blade?

It is so strange to me that Man Must Die and Striker have both released new albums (Man Must Die have taken 10 years to release a new album) and neither one of them have received a single review. I wonder if there's been a change towards focusing on new bands rather than relatively established acts because there was a time when both bands would have received reviews within a few weeks (or months at worst). I have never had a gift for writing reviews, but I've always enjoyed reading others thoughts on albums that blew my mind. Has anyone else noticed this?

Well, I reckon there's a pretty good chance it'll be about gory tits.

Seeing Sonja and Wayfarer tonight in Asheville - looking forward to the show. I'm not really familiar with much Wayfarer material. Might just go in blind and let it happen.

Great band. Wasn't that into their last two but World's Blood is one of my favorite albums from the last 10 years.

Ironically, I'm completely unfamiliar with Sonja. My wife wants to see (what I believe is the same tour) in Toronto, so let me know if the sets are any good!

I'll give it a shot - they did put on a fun show. All the songs sounded a bit alike but that's sometimes how it goes with these bands. They had a nice heavy sound and sometimes had one of the other guys doing some extra vocals - it was all pretty vicious. Sonja were really great, and if you like trad metal you'll dig it.
