That would be Roger Eberts all time favorite film, Freddy Got Fingered.

Pornogrind rules. Its groovish nature isn't of this world. Cock and Ball Torture figures among the best bands I've ever heard. Some pornogrind-influenced gore like Hymen Holocaust also captures my attention a lot.

By the way, Satan's Revenge on Mankind indeed is awesome.

Been getting really into this stuff lately, whether it's goregrind/pornogrind/grindcore with elements of both etc:

Cock and Ball Torture
Gut
Dead Infection
VxPxOxAxAxWxWxAxMXC
Infant Bile
Carnal Decay
Prejudice
Last Days of Humanity
Regurgitate
Impetigo
General Surgery (more grindcore)
Autopsy (more death metal)
County Medical Examiners (more grindcore)

I prefer General Surgery and Autopsy from your list above, as they actually have some semblance of real riffs and structure. I have owned albums/records by both at one time or another.

Some of the others, such as Last Days... are annoying and funny to listen to for laughs, for like a couple minutes or so, but they are pretty much total noise to me.

Yeah me too, but I also really like The County Medical Examiners, Regurgitate and Impetigo.

I'm not really that into Last Days either.

C.M.E. and Impetigo most definitely have riffs.

C.M.E. sounds so much like Carcass that I'd heard Jeff Walker was trying to sue them for copying their sound but took it back I think because they told him they were just influenced by him.

I mean if you listen to County Medical Examiners it's pretty damn obvious they are wearing their Carcass influence on their sleeves and not trying to hide it.

I don't know how you could try to sue someone for copying your sound in a situation like that and if it's true it makes me think just slightly less of Jeff Walker.

Can anyone point me towards the experimental (or progressive, if such a thing is even possible) side of goregrind? I want bands that expand on the restrictive formula by bringing in other influences.

Listening to Nagrö Läuxes VIII right now. I have seen that cover plenty of times but never bothered giving it a shot. It seems like more of an experimental album than a grind one, very interesting stuff nonetheless.

When it comes to Goregrind, I listen largely to this:
Carcass (early)
Pathologist's first two albums
And that's about it.

Pornogrind, on the other hand; every band I've heard evokes a reaction from me. And it isn't a good reaction either, in case you're wondering...

Really jonesin’ for more goregrind right now. ZOMBIE on the previous page posted some excellent stuff. Anything like that worth listening to? I mean goregrind / pornogrind beyond the obvious Gut, Libido Airbag, The County Medical Examiners, etc... This day in age there must be a label full of gory splatter filled pornogrind somewhere.

For fellow grind freaks, http://Www.braindeadzine.net is an excellent webzine. Any other good grind webzine / fanzines?

Was looking for more stuff inspired by Reek era Carcass and stumbled on Xysma - Swarming of the Maggots demo from 1989. Excellent stuff.

If memory serves me right, it was at that early stage in Xysma's career (or maybe on the "Above the mind of morbidity" MLP?) that they invented death'n'roll and actually preceded the more well known acts like Entombed by a few years.

Yeah, I think after the demo era they started a death’n roll style but that demo, Swarming of the Maggots, is pure Carcass - Reek of Putrefaction worship, absolutely zero death’n roll. They have a compilation album out of all their goregrind demos and first 2 full lengths where the death’n roll is In full swing, needless to say the transition is somewhat jarring.

I found a "new" cool band called Isacaarum(Czechia).

More metal kind of gore/pornogrind. Sometimes they sound quite a bit like Carcass, sometimes Impaled Nazarene. And more...

Sadly,they split in 2014.

Spoiler: show

Oh do any of you guys consider Intestinal Disgorge goregrind? It's a terrible band but there's a very strong feeling about them that's characteristic of that genre.

I LOVE INTESTINAL DISGORGE! To me, their album "Depravity" is a masterpiece! Listen if you havent!

Someday I will write reviews for all my favorite albums by them...

I remember finding this album through their cover on a regurgitate tribute album. I really enjoyed it

YES! THIS! CBT's "Sadochismo" was the gateway album for me into so many amazing creations. This niche gets shat on a lot, but when it's done well it really satisfies

I love anything quality that is in anyway a sub-genre of grindcore whether it's old school grindcore, gore-grind, porno-grind or cyber grind.

These days I am particularly into Cyber grind and have been discovering some new bands like Catasexual Urge Motivation, Reek of the Unzen Gas Fumes, Nunwhore Commander 666, Video//Nasty, Ampallang Infection, Anal Geriatric Infection, Urgl, etc.

Then of course there's The Berzerker as well as Whourkr and Mulk who also probably count.

I just really dig super crazy experimental industrial and noise influenced cyger-grind that is all over the place with drum triggers and or drum machines, samples, loops etc.

Sometimes I'll kind of not be sure whether or not a band is fully considered death-grind, gore-grind or porno-grind and certainly the genres will blend into eachother.

I mean I am not into any of the misogynistic shit that some porno-grind bands espouse but nor am i into the fact that count grishnack is an anti-semite but i still like Burzum, i just won't pay money for bands who's message I don't support.

I had commented in this thread years ago but if we are talking porno-grind I dig Libido Airbag, VxPxOxAxAxWxAxMxC, Cock and Ball Torture and a lot of the bands that have really catchy drum trigger/drum machine beats with samples and loops etc, as well as bands like Agoraphobic Nosebleed of course.

On goregrind we've got all the usual suspects like Carcass, Dead Infection, Impetigo, Repulsion, Blood, General Surgery, etc.

I haven't discovered that many new gore-grind or porno-grind bands lately, but I just can't get enough cyber grind/industrial grind.

That stuff is great when the bands put in actual effort and attempt to really write interesting riffs.
