Yeah because gun control & the 2nd amendment is way more important to discuss in the Newton School shooting thread than MENTAL HEALTH (in which I barely see ANY discussion of it while the MAJORITY of it is all about guns).

Mental health care has been in a bad shape since 2003. People with mental illness are struggling to get the care that they need because they can't afford it. And when a MENTALLY-ILL person shoots a bunch of elementary school kids, what is the immediate discussion 2-3 days later? Gun control. Nothing is being said about improving mental-health care. I only saw a few articles talking about mental health and at least one YouTube video that talks about it. And it really annoys me that people would normally call someone like this a nut job/lunatic and immediately discuss the state of gun control and how the government should change how we use guns, and not even bring up ANYTHING about mental care or trying to figure out WHY someone would do this. And in three months prior, they would all forget about it and go back to talking about American idol and what the celebrities are doing and other nonsense.

Breakdowns of any kind can be actually good when used properly and not to excess. That's the way I've always felt about them at least.
