Hi Guys
Didn't see a thread for this so thought I'd post it, for our N.American friends.

Norwegian Viking metal veterans EINHERJER have announced plans to tour North America this year, after a 12 year absence from North American shores. The “Dragons Over Vineland” tour will begin in Canada where they’ll be supported by Panzerfaust, starting in Toronto on March 15.

3/9 St. Paul, MN – Heathen Crusade Metalfest
3/13 Austin, TX – South by Southwest (venue TBA)
3/15 Toronto, CA – Hard Luck Bar #
3/16 Sudbury, ON – Byscenen #
3/18 Ottawa, ON – Maverick #
3/19 Montreal, QC – Katacombes #
3/20 Quebec City, QC – L’Agité #
3/21 Jonquière, QC – Place Nikitoutagan #
3/22 Trois-Rivières, QC – Rock Cafe le Stage #
3/23 St-Hyacinthe, QC – Bar le Trash #
4/6 Haugesund, NO – Byscenen
# – with Panzerfaust

What do you guys think? Anyone going to go?

Not many US dates, are there? I'm not surprised, they aren't that relevant, I doubt an extensive tour of the States would be fiscally safe. I feel like joining the Paganfest lineup would have been more beneficial and maybe brought Einherjer some more attention.

I have just seen that they are joining the Paganfest tour, so perhaps that is where more US dates will come into play:

Hmm, I don't see what you're referring to. Maybe some of their dates coincide and they're playing among the Paganfest lineup? Either way, that would be a great idea.

"Just a reminder to North American fans that Ensiferum will headline the Paganfest America tour with Týr, Heidevolk, Trollfest and Helsott in March and April.

Dates to be announced soon, so keep an eye out on our page!"

So I assume perhaps they are adding more dates, to the ones I previously posted, I may be wrong, apologies if so.

Right but where does it mention Einherjer? Sorry for the confusion. Maybe you're reading Ensiferium as Einherjer...? Haha

Wow, that's cool. I wasn't expecting anything so West Coast as to make it convenient for me, but good for Einherjer. I saw them in 2009 and they rock hard.

Okay when I saw this on Blabbermouth I almost shit yesterday, but the headline should of been Canada tour not North American. I was so fucking disapointed when I saw there was only two us dates!!! Einherjer is one of my favs since like 96 and would kill to see them live. As far as them being on Paganfest I think someone got them confused withh Ensiferum. Also what the fuck is up with Paganfest? Why they Hell haven't they anounced the dates yet? I mean it's been like almost two months now that they announced the line-up!

Oh lord South by Southwest is a pain in the ass to navigate due to the shear amount of bands that perform and the 90+ venues

I have that Songkick app on my phone (which seems to update new concert dates faster than they're announced sometimes), and it looks like one Paganfest date has leaked, that being at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival this April. That was confirmed less than a day ago by the Paganfest Facebook and they added an opening date (March 30th in Denver). There are no other dates besides, it is rather odd. They said they'll have the remainder of the shows next week, but we'll see.
