Warloghe live in the year of our lord 2024, incredible. Hopefully some footage surfaces of this one. I'd love to see Kiira, Obskuritatem and Cenotaphe too someday.

DOMGÅRD from Sweden - another horde for the first time in Germany - is a journey back in time to the early 90s of Black Metal. It's art is eerie, pensive, and quite ritualistic in nature, and the emphasis on long, drawn-out songs allows the feel of something ancient and evil to seep into this art. Lyrically, Domgård is also dedicated to Dark Germanic Heathenism.

Altars Ablaze from Czech Republic are the penultimate confirmation. Their style combines brutal, furious Death Metal à la Morbid Angel with parts of Nordic Black Metal in the vein of Setherial. The intelligent and dynamic songwriting coupled with plenty of technical finesse is impressive.
