What are some tours you are kicking yourself for missing?

As someone who loves tech death I am really angry I missed the Obsucra/Beyond Creation/Archspire/Exist/Inferi tour but it did not come to my state so I would've had to drive to Chicago to catch it. That's just the first one that comes to mind, I work a lot so sadly I miss a lot of good shows.

I really would have liked to see Arkona in 2011, but can’t say I regret choosing to see Mayhem instead.

The Vreid "Sognametal" tour in 2014. I don't care about Vreid, but I would absolutely love to hear those Windir songs in a live setting! I think I was traveling during that time frame, so I had no way to attend any of these shows, and who knows if they'll ever do that kind of thing again

I'm still salty that this tour came nowhere near me. There was a date open between Pennsylvania and Georgia that would have been perfect and logistically sound for a VA/NC date, and they end up booking it in fucking Ohio >_>

Hopefully Obscura does a second leg of the tour. Maybe they can bring Revocation or Arsis with them this time.

So many... growing up in rural upstate NY, a lot of shows were a three-hour+ drive away so until I had my driver's license, I missed some seminal tours in the 90's.

1991: Napalm Death/Sepultura/Sick Of It All/Sacred Reich
1992: Ministry/Helmet/Sepultura
1993: Anthrax/White Zombie/Quicksand
1994: Entombed/Unsane
1995: Danzig/Godflesh
1996: Motörhead/Dio/Sam Black Church
1997: Neurosis/Unsane/Brutal Truth/Overcast

Two in particular:

1. Iron Maiden and Dream Theater in 2010, as it was both in Madison Square Garden and the last DT tour with Mike Portnoy before he quit.

2. Heaven and Hell and Zappa Plays Zappa in 2009. Dio died the next year.

Vader came around last summer and I didn't know a thing about it and only discovered it this recent summer when I happened to find a live clip of them.

Vader doesn't make it to the states too frequently from what I can tell, so I have probably missed my opportunity to see them in the Cleveland area for several years. Very disappointing, they're one of my most wanted to see live bands right now.

Mostly pissed that I missed paradise lost when they toured here in the us. Unfortunately since they didn't come to my state and with my wife and I expecting our first baby soon. I couldn't make the time or have the money to travel to see them.
