https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/B ... v21.C/3274

Could someone with Beherit's H418ov21.C album tell me if any lyrics were printed at all? I've already removed the lyrics to "Mystik Force" for having some obvious red flags such as question marks and "(unintelligible whispering)". However, since Beherit only released lyrics to select songs on Drawing Down the Moon, I'm willing to give this the benefit of the doubt. So can anyone confirm the officialness of the lyrics before I give them the axe?

Hope Eye didn't spoil the task for "you". Whoever "you" is, Eye saw it today, Eye took the job.

If anyone wants to add lyrics to Varathron's new album Patriarchs of Evil, they can be transcribed from this video.

Could somebody give me an official citation for Obituary's Cause of Death lyrics?

https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/O ... _Death/719

I got a hold of a CD copy and they don't have lyrics. I skimmed over a few Discogs entries and they didn't seem to have them either. Is there proof against these lyrics being guessed? If not, I'm deleting them.

Investigate. Do not "skim over". Be thorough before deleting anything just because "it seems" it's not out there.

Interesting that the copy doesn't have lyrics. Normally I would flag a report asking the user who added the lyrics to cite their source... but in this case that's not an option - they were added before V1 by an unknown user. Obviously, do a sufficient amount of research first, but if you are suspicious that the lyrics are unofficial/guessed and you have found absolutely no proof otherwise, then I would also be for deleting them. I'm sure we'd rather have no lyrics than possibly guessed lyrics... the latter seems a bit dangerous on any encyclopedia trying to be as accurate as possible. Still, it's not up to me, just throwing in what I think.

So I did a more thorough search and found all of one entry on Discogs that has it: a Russian bootleg from 2017.

https://www.discogs.com/Obituary-Cause- ... e/10968119

So who knows where they got that from.

I also went to a couple of other lyrics sites. I know they're often the opposite of reliable sources, but I checked them out just to find some consistency and...well, found the opposite. Besides the obvious syntax issues, we've got whole lines different.

Well, sounds like they're guesswork and should be removed, then.

Very good hunting. Lyrics gone. I would suggest adding a moderation warning too.

While were talking Obituary, does anyone have any explanation as to why their albums from Frozen in Time onward only have lyrics for some of their songs? I find that very befuddling
