I know, for a lot of you "slamming brutal death metal" doesn't mean anything. But I want to know why? Since 2010, a ton of sbdm bands appeared.
The problem is that we can't tag some brutal death metal bands with that same tag. I'll show you 2 examples :

Slamming brutal death metal : Abominable Putridity : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWKLN6boesU
- Palm mute everywhere
- Jerky rythme
- Very low guttural vocals including pig squeals

Brutal death metal : Necrocest : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSjEGz4mayg
- Tremolo riffs
- More death metal vocals like cannibal corpse, obituary for example . Less guttural vocals & pig squeal (rare)

For me those 2 bands shouldn't be classed as just Brutal Death Metal.
I can see some useless tags on the site like medieval black metal which for this one don't mean anything. Bands with this tags are juste black metal bands, nothing more.
So why not include the sbdm in EM?
This is asked by a lot of guys, and this could be really interesting for people who are looking for slamming brutal death metal without select bands with the brutal death metal tag.

The genre of Abominable Putridity has already been stated as Slam/Brutal Death Metal. There are also 80 metals labelled as Slam in this database, and almost 4000 Brutal bands in this database. "Slam Metal" might have been a phenomenon or inspirational musical direction for many brutal death metal bands; maybe some band played brutal death metal using palm mute, irregular rhythm, and gutteral/squealing vocals, and added the "slam" label, and many other brutal death metal bands followed. You can play "slams" while having vocals which more closely resemble the more well-known death metal vocals as in Cannibal Corpse. Again, "slam metal" might seem unnecessary as just another form of brutal death metal, except that pig squeals which I honestly find somewhat inane after a few listens. Same goes with other metal subgenre further explained with a "sub-sub genre (brutal)" and then a "sub-sub-sub genre (slamming)."

Specifying tags even further also might occur for folk metal bands, as in "Nordic Folk", "Middle Eastern Folk", "Chinese Folk", or "[some native country] Folk" metal though in this case the tags have rarely been specified by ethnic or geographical origin.

Oh, I notice that "SBDM" is an anagram of "DSBM", aka "depressive suicidal black metal", an equally brutal, indecipherable, and inaccessible genre in my opinion. In the sites this genre is just called "depressive black metal".
