Scanner: Got added, can be removed from list.

Scream (10232): Sounds more rock centric from these samples.
https://www.popsike.com/Hard-Rock-45-Sc ... 84455.html

Deception (10237): Two tracks here. Vaguest of metal hints, but still sounds like rock to me. Up to Azmodes if this is worth keeping. Description on discogs limits itself to describing this as hard rock as well.

Asylum (8979): Can be removed. Asked if they ever released a CD or download under this name and was told no, and sent a youtube and soundcloud link. I'd post this conversation but they blocked me.

Slightly Miffed: In a rare case, we have an exceptionally well archived site, samples included. Half the tracks are featured here, which I'm assuming are not the full songs. Neat music, but from what's available, it sounds like experimental funk/thrash metal, very borderline. If someone wants to peep this music and throw in another opinion, feel free. Who knows, the other 7 tracks might be more metal?

Seïsm: Track here (and it rocks). Definitely metal, but with 5 other tracks, I feel it would be rejected needing more.

Mercy Killer got added.

Rarebreed: Someone added a track to youtube. Sounds like melodic heavy metal/rock. Could probably use more samples.

Witchboard: No VR confirmed by bandmember.

New Blood: Demo was never formally released. Band hopes to release it one day, but this reads as wishful thinking/desire to do so as opposed to concrete plans. Up to Azmodes, to keep with a check back note or toss.

Bullet: Should probably be removed. The track online is plain rock and is listed as just hard rock on discogs. Probably not worth pursuing the A side.

I hear ya, but with those NWOBHM singles the other song can sometimes be a curve ball in terms of heaviness. I'd like to keep it on the list for the time being. The Discogs genre is admittedly not a good sign, but also not definitive.

Fair enough. From what I've seen 90-90% of the 80s 7" are rock oriented as opposed to metal. We'll see.

The following bands have been added and can be removed from the list: Ujenyx, Mournolith Abyss, Faded Sun, Dirty Water Salt and Blood

Starchild: Love to see this. Old band has released their material on streaming and most platforms. All three demo tracks are here, plus tons of others. Will submit. *edit* It would appear this has been blacklisted. Unsure if this was submitted before or after this release.
https://music.apple.com/us/album/steamroller/1713900236

Crash (631): Ordered the CD. Expect samples.

Test: Not sure why this is here. It's been marked as hard rock by baldadeath and on discogs. Song sounds like it too.

Two compilation appearances totalling to 4 tracks, not sure if it could possibly be the Exitus from Czechia, but I doubt it: https://www.discogs.com/artist/3054851-Exitus-2

Not certain if a band with two compilation appearances like this is acceptable in this thread, if not I shall delete it.

Both compilations have good scans on discogs showing that the band comes from Slovakia. Submitted.

Submitted, thanks, Azmodes.

Vampora: Unfortunately, the CD on discogs isn't official or formal. It just three tracks according to someone close with the band, no VR.

Treff: Tons of samples here. Sounds like acceptable Heavy Metal/Hard Rock. There's also a site reviewing the album on discogs, claiming it's their fourth. That might cover VR.

Virus (2073): Already listed under Virus project.

Трилогия: This band's CD is on HMR and has booklet scans of the members, making me think that this was an actual CD, and the discogs owner was simply using an online image that happened to have a watermark.
